Sterling runs, kicks the ball against the opposition and then losses the ball. Some footballer he is.

We've been crap so far. We picked now to have our worst game. Get vardy on.
Vardy alone isn't the answer.

The whole team plan needed changing from day one.

Roy simply isn't up to the job.

Still not creating chances.
As long as we have the lions share of the ball then the pundits will praise us, and say how well we did.

All the hallmarks of watching United under LvG this sadly.

Another shot goes flying over the bar. Iceland keeper stops for a sandwich and a cuppa

Seems to be a repeat of the other games.. no clear well built up chances. Just snatches at the ball.

Vardy needs to get in behind them to be effective, we're playing in front of them. Not to his strength

Rooney is fat balloon, he cant control a ball and is slow as ****. Barkley should be on in there who can control a ball and beat a man with a yard or two more pace.

Do you think Rooney will mouth off about our fans again if they're booed after this?

Walker does a lot of running with little end product.

It was why he should never have been picked in the squad, nevermind the actual team.

Just wondering, but when was the last time England actually had 11 players in their prefered and recognised positions?

England has always been a vastly overrated team imo ...which boggles my mind why every single tournament there's so much hype in the media towards them 😒😒; as if 😒😒

England are all over Iceland at the moment which probably means they'll concede soon.

I'd have had Alli or Kane off before Sterling, no ones been any good mind but he wasn't the worse one today!

Even if England wins this they're going to get trashed by the sporting press tomorrow.

Hodgson, the only man in England with a coherent plan for leaving Europe.

A beeb commentator made the point that everyone thought his move to Man City would improve his game, but it had made it poorer.

This isn't the young guy who electrified Anfield is it.?

There was comparatively little hype about England in the media this time around, though.

Lots of people got very excited when England beat Germany a few months ago but that was really it.

england playing like a team that knows if they lose they will have to seek asylum in france as none of them will be welcome back on to these shores...

Yep. I remember the good old days when you actually knew the England squad and everyone had their roles. John Terry.. Rio.. Beckham.. Scholes.. Owen. Etc etc.
