Redknapp should have been given the job instead of Hodgson

Get stuffed England, i will never get excited for another tournament we are involved in again.
The same mistakes were made in the build up. We picked out of form players, we ditched a formation and style of football to shoehorn a player who's career has been on decline for the last 2 years. We ****** up AGAIN !!! and it never ******* changes. |

The job will be given to Gary Neville which won't really change anything

Roy has to go, but the options are not exactly plentiful in terms of his replacement.

Absolutely appalling.
Our attack is supposedly our strength but it was so poor tonight. |

Wake up calls don't come bigger than that.
We have just been shown the starkest example possibly in our lives of how far England have sunk in international football. The finest players in the English game have been outperformed by a team of decent but greatly unspectacular professional simply because they played as that - a team. That's what it all boils down to in the end. We are now left to deal with the realisation that England is now an average football nation. |

Not to worry. They'll all be sunning their arses in the Caribbean this time tomorrow.
Well done to the kid Rashford- the only one who looked he had a ****ing clue tonight. Did more in 5 minutes than the rest did in the whole game. |

Honestly I didn't see how you England fans do it. Time and time again yet the support is unreal.
England are a joke and every tournament they never fail to let me down for comedy value. |

Brilliant!!
Never gets boring seeing England humiliated.. Sad thing is England will have a near perfect world cup qualification and people will get hyped again. England are bang average. Have been for a very long time. |

The frightening thing for England is that France will probably be a game too far for Iceland and they will be taken apart

Roy's position has to be untenable now. The FA are stubborn, but they can't be THAT stubborn.
Not a single player can claim to have played well today, but Kane in particular was abject. Him and Alli aren't the same players that we saw all season at Spurs. Whether that be because of burnout, or because of Hodgson. |

We just never learn us England fans. We keep watching and desperately hoping - only to be let down and disappointed time after time.

Pardew and his fist pumping antics might not be a bad choice tbh. Don't overthink it too much and all that. But whatever.

Is Murray still in Wimbledon? Not that I can bare a second of that rubbish.
