He isn't the only one. Time for the whole FA to go. We need a proper revamp now.
The FA are only concerned about their blazers looking good, and being seen in the expensive seats at Wembley, they don't really give two shits about the actual team

We've had one after every tournament since 2000...apparently.

Gareth Southgate is the bookies favourite to replace Roy. Please let it be true. He'd be a brilliant choice to lead our young warriors forward at the next World Cup.

There is no way Hodgson will be the Eng manager after this. I hope he does the honorable thing and go and not hang about, take Lewington with him too.

At least Erikssson got us the quarter finals when he was manager

I'm keeping my flags up but only for Wales now. England were frankly lucky to get through to this match

England - a bunch of players played out of position with no clear plan.
Spot on. That has to be down to Roy. The amount of changes he was making says it all. He or his team simply had no proper plan. It's as if he had two different sides in his head and he was picking which one he felt was the best for each match. Weird.

Glad we lost to Iceland rather than Portugal or some would make the excuse of them having Ronaldo. This way there can be no excuse, no hiding place. Utter humiliation

That was even worse than the World cup exit. Hard to believe that England's second half performance could be worse than the first. As much as Roy clearly has to go, at least six of those players should hang their heads in shame for the way they played tonight.

But well done Iceland.

The frightening thing for England is that France will probably be a game too far for Iceland and they will be taken apart
They defend well though, I think they'll keep the score low

Iceland - a well organised team.

England - a bunch of players played out of position with no clear plan.
England Managers always select 11 players when what they should do is pick a TEAM

Not only is this England team overrated but they have delusions of grandeur as well; that's what they get. Love, love this result .

Eliminated by Iceland 😂😂. Iceland 😂.

Is Murray still in Wimbledon? Not that I can bare a second of that rubbish.
He's Scheduled to get beat by Djokovic late next week.

Wake up calls don't come bigger than that.

We have just been shown the starkest example possibly in our lives of how far England have sunk in international football.

The finest players in the English game have been outperformed by a team of decent but greatly unspectacular professional simply because they played as that - a team.

That's what it all boils down to in the end.

We are now left to deal with the realisation that England is now an average football nation.
We were average way before this tournament.

The bookies have some great managers to look forward to after Roy:

Gareth Southgate 4/1 fav
Gary Neville 6/1
Alan Pardew 7/1
Brendan Rodgers 8/1
Eddie Howe 8/1
Southgate lol. That's a joke!!!
