Murray is probably feeling very smug right now
He should do and shouldn't feel frightened to say his glad England lost.

Anyone going to start a petition to get the result changed, as I don't like how this one finished.

I ****ing said Hodgson should have been sacked 2 years ago for failing to get a single win in a major tournament. He's a shambolic manager and he'll end his reign in disgrace.

We would have only been disappointed further down the line.

However, we've now got the added EMBARASSMENT to get over this time as well!

Has it ever happened before where Wales have done better than England?
1958 World Cup.

It just harks back to the viewpoint that the Premier League is not there to service the England team.
True but it should be possible to find 11 players capable to play at this level from the premier league.

They should refuse their salary after that shocking performance.
Dont think the charity they donate their salary to would be too happy.

Well done, iceland. They deserved to win.

Embarrassingly poor performance from England.

Because he doesn't fit Woy's style of play (i.e. utter sh*te). You've got to remember Rashford scored within seconds of his debut...so naturally Woy then shoved him out on the wing and then never played him again.

Full credit for Rashford for being better than the rest of the entire team in the space of a few minutes. England out of Europe...in every sense of the word now.
Yes and that was blindingly apparent.

Rooney looked an old man, England looked a Championship team -and that maybe is where the English born standard fits these days.

Hodgson has to go surely.

I dont usually agree with Steve McClaren

But he has got it bang on by saying

We played like indivduals not as a team

Didi Hamann on RTE : "the Premier League is overrated and a fraud"
Nah it's our manager and his tactics, weird subs, playing players out of form, no wingers apart from one lacking in confidence and picking players based on reputation.

Bringing on Rashford at least half an hour too late because he hasn't got the balls to make a change!

Let's hope the next appointment is a good one.

The most embarrassing thing for me was that you couldn't even call it a fluke. Iceland often looked genuinely the better side. They had shape, good technical control and a desire to win.

Absolutely hilarious result! Iceland comprehensively outplayed them. They had no ideas at all, just kept pumping it into the box and that was bread and butter for the Icelandic defence.

But same problem as always - the English players couldn't give a damn about that shirt.
