Good to see the early goal was as beneficial as people were saying it would be.

From a neutral point of view, it's been a remarkable start

Iceland have been great with the long throws throughout.

Yeah there you go you useless sacks of cow manure.

Score a goal and then concede immediately

Did I expect anything else? No of course not. Match willbe a delightfully dull stalemate now for the next 115 mins and then England will lose on penalties.

They might as well have thrown it into England's net.

More action in the opening 7 minutes then 117 minutes of Portugal-Croatia.

You would have thought that the land that brought the world the Rory Delap long throw, would know how to defend one, but alas that doesn't seem to be the case.

What is Glenn Hoddle talking about?

Teams don't have to defend against long throws in the Premier League? Since when?

No, its a Iceland style of chant which I think will catch on next season.

Shambles they couldn't keep a cleansheet............

England must test that Iceland goalkeeper as often as they can from set pieces, he's not comfortable claiming those.

We scored then thought yes this will be easy now and they all switched off. Inexcusable.

Rory Delap would have been more useful than Raheem Sterling

I thought the same.

You see long throws every week in the Premiership.

Hoddle has shown time after time he hasn't a clue in this tournament.
