Rylan Clark-Neal and his husband Dan are about to become the first gay couple to host This Morning.

The TV presenter and the former Big Brother star will fill in for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford next month while they’re away on holiday.

A source told The Mirror that the pair convinced ITV bosses to give them a shot after their recent interview with Christopher Cramp.

What on earth are ITV thinking? It's bad enough when Rylan does it while being baby-sat by someone who knows what they are doing, but now HE is baby-sitting his rookie husband?

This really is disturbing. He can barely string a sentence together. He infiltrates BBBOTS with anyone who has an Essex postcode. Now he's getting good mainstream jobs.

I cannot stand Dan the know it all but I might watch to see how bad its going to be , it can't be good, can it?

I liked Ruth. She used to present on TSW, a West Country evening news show in the 80s.

I wonder when this 'phase' of "reality stars can present any show" is going to die out. Heaven help them if they actually had to 'train up' for their career or sit exams to qualify like the rest of us do!!
