Remote Network Locking
Hi
I wonder if someone on here can clarify something for me. I know that Apple have their phones register with them when switched on and could lock a iphone to a network then but I am talking other manufacturers, Samsung or Microsoft for example. I have been told today that a network can lock a mobile phone (purchased unlocked) to their network even if its connected to another network. I don't think this is the case. If a phone is stolen it can be made inoperable regardless of the network its on but I have never heard of network locking via GMS across networks. Thanks for any clarification. |
