Yes, an interrogation. He was like a dog with a bone. Just because he doesn't shout it doesn't mean he isn't being aggressive.

If you observed a pattern of behavior that you didn't agree with and it hurt your feelings and your friend's feelings, would you speak up?

In the pod we had one guy asking some questions with four others shouting back at him ..

The point is he had no idea what they were saying, just assuming it was malicious and trying to make everybody out as the bad guy.

There are different types of aggression. Andy is being VERY passive aggressive, Lateysha's reaction is understandable.

Huge respect to Alex for standing up to him so calmly.

He was in the bedroom and heard them gossiping and heard Jayne's defense of Hughie.

Andy was in the bedroom when they were bad mouthing Hughie , Jayne stood up for Hughie .
Andy was in the task room when Lateysha called Jason a game player .

I feel sorry for him when they start to gang up on him.

Alex didn't stand up to him and in fact he said:
"ALEX: Just because he wants to be in the final doesn’t mean he’s a game-player. Who here doesn’t want to be in the final?"

IIRC Alex even started that off with "fair point, just because..." but that is relying on my memory. Regardless, Alex didn't stand up to Andy and seemed to agree with that one point. It wasn't until Alex was alone with Jason that he said Andy was pompous or something like that. I disagree with the "pompous" bit.

lol, it's easy to confuse it since Alex is always hiding then occasionally pops up to say a sentence or two. He agreed with Andy in the pod...said something like "fair point, everyone wants to make it to the final and that doesn't make them a game player" or something like that. Then later when he had Jason alone, he said Andy was pompous or patronizing. He never said it to Andy's face.

I would speak up once I knew the facts which Andy clearly didn't as all he said was he overheard Jayne defending Hughie.

There is a difference between speaking up and stirring. If Andy doesn't want people to think of him negatively he should look at his own gossipy, patronising behaviour.

Andy gathered facts by talking to Charlie which you think of as being like a snake (to gather facts...whatever). Andy heard the bed bitching crew and heard Jayne's defense so that was all he needed to use as an example of malicious gossip. I don't think Andy gives a shit was these maliciously gossipy ignorant fools think of him and good on him for not caving in to mob rules mentality.
