Dongle
Hi there, we have a family member in hospital and its just been confirmed he will be in a for a while, it's my father inlaw, He has his laptop in with him but we need a dongle and I don't know anything about them except he can connect to the internet throw the mobile signal and thats it! Anyone reccomend one for him?

Does the hospital have WiFi? Would be cheaper than a dongle.

Yes it has Wifi but the staff couldn't get it to work so I'll have a go later today, thanks for that.

Does your family member have a smartphone? If so, if they are on a plan which includes tethering they can use their smartphone as a WiFi hotspot. Even if they aren't on a plan that includes tethering, you can get a PAYG plan from a network such as EE that include tethering.
