Inquest in England. I dont care just get rid of them
Already the media are starting an inquest into results of 2016. Already questions of the players, manager, structure of the English game.
I dont care !!!! We had the same thing in South Africa, it was a learning process in Brazil with a young team most of them not in this squad. Then we have this shower of shit playing in this contest. This is the worst of the lot. This is without doubt the worst performance of any players in a england shirt. Even in the worst days of Sweden with Grahame Taylor it was not this bad. However I dont care, no reason in the world can explain this poor performance. No amount of inquest or questions is going to solve this problem. Just take out the has been's, the manager and the players bury them in the back of the garden and move on. I dont care who the next manager is. I dont care if rooney retires. I dont care if the players are over paid, I dont care if we dont produce enough english players. None of that matters, none of that explains this level of performance. Lets not pretend anyone can explain it. Lets not pretend their is a master plan that will make England perform any better next time. Lets just brush this under the carpet and move on the understanding we will be just as bad next time. |

The suits at The FA will still get their junkets to the FIFA Meetings, Euro's and World Cups and that in the end is what matters

Every single bloody tournament there is an 'inquest'.
Too many foreign players, too many matches, no winter break............. And the FA do F all about it!! Team are a joke. Just perform for qualifiers, do nothing against the big boys. |

I honestly thought with this new, young team we wouldn't see them play with the kind of fear that has dogged previous teams. Sadly, I was wrong!
That was worse than ever! Not one player deserves more than a 3/10 for their performance. I don't mind us losing and going out, but to go out like that is just depressing. |

He had a stinker, but so did ten others. That was the worst I've ever seen Rooney play. He looked like an old man playing in a pub team. |

When it comes to the big tournaments other teams want it more. Simple as that.
They are probably over it by now and the only thing they are thinking about is booking a luxury holiday of which you or I can only dream of. |

The sad fact is nothing will be done unless we get a manager who can settle on a team and put players in positions they can play in.
Every side that has any success starts by having a settled team, where the vast majority of the players are in known positions, Italy, Spain, Germany and France do this but for some reason England never seem to cotton on. Would any of this made a difference tonight, probably not, but in future tournaments it may mean we at least exit the tournament with a little pride intact. |

I don't think it's as simple as that. Other countries such as Germany have many wealthy players in their team but they don't play badly just because they can afford to live a life of luxury.

They were play acting laying face down on the pitch minutes after the game had ended. If anything, the players want it too much. As the years go by with failure followed by failure, the pressure seems to be building more and more. They were so scared they could barely move or make even the most simple of passes. How we get rid of this is the big question and problem. |

it's not about wanting it more, we just play dark ages football, there's no subtlety or guile at all, we play only with our bodies and not with our brains

I don't really buy the 'too many matches' argument, that is just a poor excuse for me, I do think the huge number of foreign players in the premier league is a factor though, not really sure what you can do about that though. You also have to question why Hodgson wasn't sacked after the world cup fiasco, a change was clearly needed then. |
