Maybe Liverpool perhaps but hasn't Migs just signed another contract there?

No way would the others you mention want him for sure and you could add one or two more to that list as well - there's a few really good keepers about.
I agree with Liverpool perhaps not wanting hart neither.

If pep decides hart is not welcome, hart will not get another pl club who can realistically win the league. His ego will be severely bruised.

Liverpool brought a German goalie the other week I think.

Problem is Hart wasn't a leader when his defence was all over the place, he tried to act like a leader when it was too late.

He does this all the time, relaxed in goal until England are losing, then gets all vocal and chases the ball like a headless chicken.

It's the same reason City's defence go to crap when Kompany ain't playing there is no leadership from the keeper.

Hart shouldn't be guaranteed no 1 but at the same time he shouldn't be cast out never to return. Doesn't need to be extreme reactions to everything.
It is not an extreme reaction when there is so much competition for that place, it is more of a case of paying for his performances, there is a cost to playing so poorly for so long.
How much longer would you keep playing him, when there are other players, who can do a better job than him??

that's because he wants to be seen as the man who "fronts up", passionate, caring about the team etc

Time after time he has done this, to "take ownership of his error".

Instead of concentrating on removing the error in the first place.

I dont think pep will have him as the #1 at city this season If he moves, what team would realistically come in for him?

United - no chance
Spurs - no chance
Chelsea - no chance
Arsenal - no chance
Leicester - no chance

I could see liverpool perhaps?
He might have to look abroad, although I don't quite know which club that might be if he wants to continue with Champions League football.

I've already said I'd drop him. I wouldn't exile him from the squad completely though, that's the extreme reaction.

Fine he can be third choice, behind Butland and Forster.

Or he can play for contention like it should be in order to avoid having a set hierarchy and undroppable players.

Maybe that's what England need. Hart standing behind Butland and Forster in goal. Let's see teams try score past 3 keepers...

Roy didnt give the #2 or #3 keepers any real opportunities in games that mattered - even after we qualified early.

It then proved impossible to drop Hart during the tournament because #2 #3 did not have experience!

That's what we need to avoid now ideally. Giving everyone the opportunity now would of course need to include Hart still.

Yes i agree with that.

We have three keepers and all three should be given the opportunity to play in games that matter. If joe hart proves he is the best then he goes back to #1, but until he does the other two should be at the front of the queue for a try.

I'd go with that. Butland, Forster and Hart seem the obvious trio to run with for now, with the door staying open for contenders to play their way in.

just one game?

I felt that roy should have been playing a 2nd choice keeper for a run of games. We know what we are getting with hart, but we needed another keeper with at leaste some experience in proper qualification games.

We had such an easy ride, Forster should have had 4 of them.

Unfortunitely it wasnt to be, and hart was undropable no matter how many mistakes he made
If he played four games in a row, surely he becomes first choice. If you say that about the keeper, what about the rest of the team? Why not play the second choice 11 for a string of games?

you dont swap that many players at a time, it never works

the keeper is an easy position to swap, it should have happened, Roy didnt bother.

if hart had got injured we would have a keeper with pretty much zero international experience coming on.

At least we don't have to send Joe Hart on the next boat to St Helena just yet, anyway.

Capello tried that at the 2010 World Cup. It didn't work out too well with Green taking his turn. By all means give the second and third choice keepers a run out in friendlies, possibly even a qualifier, but at tournaments the first choice centrebacks and keeper need to work as a settled unit.

No one rotates keepers, except for a few teams during cup runs.

Hart is a decent keeper. I just don't get what happened to him at these Euros. It was a totally unexpected (for me at least) meltdown

Just think, if we had swapped goalies with Italy yesterday then England and Spain would now be in the quarters.
If Spain had lent you De Gea for the day, Italy would have won 7:0 ...and yes, England (and De Gea) would be in the quarter finals

As a former FA employee, here is a Joe Hart tidbit.

He loathes wearing the green jersey and prefers yellow or another colour.

Roy Hodgson personally needs to approve any PR shots of him. Obviously not photos taken by press etc, but any official PR photos of him used for marketing.

Here's joe hart and Fraser Forster training with England - joe is way too arrogant for me, wouldn't mind if he was arrogant and good but he just a 'dodgy keeper'

http://saintsfan.tv/bts-fraser-forst...o-2016-france/

For me Forster should be number one and is ahead in the pecking order. Yoshda a jap player calls him 'monster' so maybe he won't be distracted with stupid hairdressing adverts!

Actually really enjoyed watching that... I like the sound that their boots make on the (Astro)turf.... Yep, Hart a bit of a muppet but interesting video to watch.

I was surprised that dave Watson had a thick Yorkshire accent! Just assumed he was from down south as he is Southampton goal keeping coach
