If I had to pick anyone out I would say harry Kane.
Just a different player to the one we all saw for spurs. |

Joe Hart must be the worst goalkeeper England has ever had .
Harry Kane , he seemed to be completely overwhelmed by the occasion . The poor guy couldn't do anything right . |

Rooney was probably England's best player in the first three matches. He simply picked the wrong night to have his worst match.

I'm glad the Lallana wasn't even included in the poll. Don't understand those going for Rooney as even though I'm not his biggest Fan I think he's one of the few that can walk away with his head held high.
For me, it'd be a toss up between Kane and Sterling. |

Aside from Brazil in the 2014 semi-final, I really have never witnessed a team collapse the way England did against Iceland. I can't remember it ever happening and I cannot understand why it happened

As for physical (or mental) tiredness... Aside from the countless other players in this tournament who played the same number or much more games than Kane and still play some great football, I would like to point out Griezmann in particular. That guy missed a penalty in the Champions League final that would have won Atletico its first ever CL trophy. That's only a tad more dramatic than Spurs' half hearted title bid. Of all the people, Griezmann shouldn't just be physically exhausted, but a total mental wreck. Yet, he is on course to winning France the tournament and the golden boot.
Meanwhile people aren't even allowed to expect a 2metre pass from Harry Kane to reach someone in an England shirt. |

That just amounts to one player is less tired than another, which is not impossible to expect.
