Aww, I agree, OP. I see her insecurities and she really does care. I know she's still trying to figure out how deal with it all. She often comments on how Evelyn has a much better body, and I think she probably has some body issues which is absurd to outsiders. I feel for her. I think she lashes out because she does have feelings and she has a fear of losing this man who adores her. Irrational? Yes. But she's still young. I find Emma and her self-righteousness far more offensive. Her and her ditzy twin are all, nature nature nature..... But chemicals are okay for boob implants, yay! Very superficial and vain. I know we're only shown a little bit from each day, so all with a grain of salt, but give me Georgina over Emma any day!

I quite like georgina but I don't want to see any more of the showmance. Jackson gets on my nerves. Georgina would be better without him.

I understand why people don't , but I have liked her from day one.
Every time she goes off on one I have been thinking "stop" - it's cringeworthy and annoying, and I wouldn't like it in the house. I still like her though - sorry ![]() Also, that you liked her before there was any good reason based on her time in the house may explain why her behaviour in the house hasn't turned you against her. The liking wasn't because of things like that, so it isn't destroyed by them either. I don't think it would take much for Georgina to become popular again. All she has to do is become more positive and cheerful and smile, the infatuation with her will return, and the edit will be blamed for her having seemed unpleasant and miserable. That phenomenon could already be seen in miniature during the brief live feed last Friday, with people smitten by how she looked when she smiled (even though she didn't actually look very different). |

NO other HM is getting that sort of extreme benefit of the doubt this year, and the mystery is why Georgina's getting it. |

I liked her. She really needs someone to take her to one side and tell her exactly how she is coming across. Alex nearly did it yesterday when he told her she was being bitchy but he didnt continue.

I like her too. She is desperately insecure and has such low self esteem that she makes some dreadful choices. She bitches about others as she finds them intimidating.
She is terrified that Jackson will be attracted to Evelyn and dump her on TV. On Taking New York, her boyfriend had a thing with an Australian girl. Interesting... Just as an interesting aside Jackson's child's mother looks quite like Georgina facially but with very slender tattooed body of Evelyn. Anyway, I would love for someone to give Georgina some non-threatening advice about how people perceive her but I think she would see it as an attack. I don't think she finds making or recognising friends easy. |

I think she'll probably go (the Evelyn stuff, her and Jackson's reaction to being nominated), but I still quite like her.

I agree with a lot of the posters here. I don't think Georgina is acting spoiled or entitled at all. That implies high self-esteem and I think it's pretty clear she has low self-esteem.
I don't think either her or Jackson are playing any games or doing anything for show purposes. It seems to me that Georgina has had a track record of betrayal from guys and is having a hard time getting her head around the possibility that Jackson isn't like that. I think she's shown some behaviour that isn't ideal but I think she's on a learning curve and I think it's a lovely thing to see between them that could do her a lot of good. I'm really sad to see the polls and the odds on here for her being the one to go. I hope it doesn't happen because I find her pretty fascinating right now. |

I agree. Emma, Laura and Evelyn are just irritated that G has first dibs on one of the two young available men and Alex is not paying any attention to them. The other men are older or gay.

She was absolutely gobsmacked to be nominated. That's how highly she thinks of herself. She thinks, that for HER sake, one of her fellow hms should ignore another - because SHE hates her. That's how highly she thinks of herself. She doesn't like Emma calling her out on her bitching, so she's not going to be friends with Emma and doesn't give a good god-damn if that makes Emma feel isolated. That's how highly she thinks of herself. Low self-esteem my arse. |

I think that's the key to it: you liked her before there was any good reason based on her time in the house to like her. So it must be about something else, such as her looks (which can influence people in subtle ways they aren't necessarily conscious of).
Also, that you liked her before there was any good reason based on her time in the house may explain why her behaviour in the house hasn't turned you against her. I liked her from day 1 because she seemed a bit different from the carbon copy women that we get every year - your Lauras and your Evelyns. I felt from her VT that she seemed a little bit insecure, and seeing her behaviour in the house has led me to believe my first instincts were correct. |

Good post, and very much how I feel.
As so often when it comes to BB, what people say makes more sense if seen as backwards. Instead of those things (her supposedly low self-esteem and fascinating whatever) being causes of liking her, or feeling sympathy, the liking came first (causes unknown), and then affects how she is perceived. Liking her calls forth the perception of depth in things that don't actually warrant it. This phenomenon has been seen again and again over the years. |

It's how you have to feel, because it's the only way to turn Georgina's unpleasant behaviour into a reason to feel sympathy for her instead.

As the days went on, however, I saw that Georgina is what she is, an entitled, controlling, unpleasant little brat. |

I'm a straight female, so her looks don't come into it all.

Seemed a bit different based on what? Her Day 1 bitching about Evelyn? That she didn't seem to have had work done on her body? (Or would that be "looks"?) That she'd already been in a reality show? How does stereotyping other women turn into liking Georgina? Like this: There wasn't anything evident on Day 1 that was a good reason to like Georgina, but comparative liking can be created by lowering opinions of other women instead. |

No it isn't. The belief that she has low self-esteem is functioning as a way to turn her unpleasant behaviour into a reason to have sympathy for her instead. Because someone as wonderful as Georgina couldn't possibly be a poisonous, entitled, jealous, or tactical rhymes-with. Just look into those lovely eyes! Surely she deserves our sympathy and help!
![]() For the record, I don't find her particularly attractive at all and she's not my favourite housemate (right now my top three are Laura, Jackson and Jason). Quote:

How's that supposed to work? There are lots of ways women can react to another woman's looks. Besides, looks was only an example.
