England fans have been great RE: Wakes to be fair.

Allow us a little snigger - I've had 40-odd years of stick off England supporting mates, including postcards from Germany 2006 and a text barrage after Sturridge's winner.

All stoically borne of course.... and credit to you for that.

Pretty much the same has come in the opposite direction for English rugby fans so it all evens out in the end.

A bit of a tasteless display by the Welsh players when England lost to Iceland. That wasn't just enjoyment of the game no matter how the BBC try to sanitise it. That was Schadenfreud, but hey, England deserved it so no gripes from me.

Ten minutes into the game, Belgium have settled the quicker and have survived a right old goalmouth barrage. They're playing a bit of keep-ball now to try to calm things down. Davies has been yellow carded out of the semi final if Wales make it for a crude foul on Hazard.

It's pretty absorbing stuff this far.

Twmbarlwm is a hill in Gwent, near Risca. I know this because the mascot for the Urdd Eisteddfod in Islwyn in 1997 was called Twmbarlwm!

Yes, I am a geographical landform.

I just like the sound of the word!

The Englishman didn't go into a bar, he couldn't drink as he was playing for Wales the next day.
