If you look at the housemates the only person who actually has any issue whatsoever with Chelsea is Jayne. That tells you everything you need to know. Perhaps Jayne needs to take a look at herself.

The housemates see a lot more than us. We see around 45 minutes of highlights per day. The housemates are living together 24/7. The majority of housemates want Jayne out.

I don't even think she is aware of the depth to which he has gone in on her to the other housemantes. She was willing to be civil with him that first night they saw each other, and he seemed to be on board, and then set about being disparaging about her to anybody who would listen. He is doing it ruthlessly too, without hesitation. I think he is doing it to show his misses on the outside that Jayne is nothing to him, and also because she genuinely means nothing to him. If you recall, Jayne said she valued him as a friend regardless of what happened between him. But that does not seem to be the case with him. It seems like he tried to get under her skirt, it didn't go his way, and so all of the value that he saw in her prior vanished, and ow she is threatening a relationship that he has on the outside. Now, in his mind, it makes sense to discard her and attack her ruthlessly. She means nothing to him.

Jayne was the one who caused the hostility when she decided to demand all sorts of apologies and painted him as some type of monster. Up until that point Chelsea was nothing but nice towards her.

I'm just going off of what I have seen others say about him on the outside world. Yes, the housemates see a lot more of him than we do. But we are privy to scenes and interactiosn that the housemates are not, so it is almost like we have the upper hand. If the housemates had seen some of the things he has done and said, I don't think they would be so quick to be cordial with him.

Actually I wouldn't say the HM know more than us. They are not privy to the DR chats, or any conversations going on in other rooms, where as we the viewers are.

Couldn't be further from the truth. Remember Jayne was the one who was sober. It was a drunken kiss as far as Chelsea is concerned. She wanted to take things further by doing a kiss and tell.

We have very different perceptions of how things went down. He wasn't really being nice to her. He was trying to keep their history on the downlow. Natalie even challanged him on that which he then denied, but it was obvious that that was what was going on.

I don't think she was trying to paint him as a monster, and he even admitted to the things that had happened between them, then denied it the next day to the other housemates. Jayne's feelings were hurt because she was mistakenly under the impression - like a lot of women are, unfortunately - that they mean more to men than they actually do. But she is just a cog in the Chelsea Empire machine. She means nothing to him.

I don't know what happened between them for certain, so I could very well be wrong with that theory. You know better than I do. But with how untrustworthy Chelsea's word in the house has been in the past, I don't know whether or not to trust him when he says that it was just a kiss and tell thing. Jayne's history with kiss and tells suggests that what you are saying is entirely possible though.

It seems to me that this was a personal situation, and not all that flamin' serious either. But Chelsea is very defensive. He could have dropped it but he mounted a mega campaign of behind the back trashing of Jayne, colluding with the hateful Natalie.

It put me off him a lot, and I generally find him sort of alright and rather funny in a ridiculous way.

Hardeep does have a point though. All the HMs (bar Jayne) do seem to like and even respect him.

I know they don't see the DR chats etc but they do spend a lot of time with him and have conversations with him and have heard his billy big boll*cks rants.

I thought it was because they don't see him as a threat but that doesn't explain why they respect him.

We have heard people say things behind his back, and those housemates are not seeing what we have seen.

He's generally genial to people.

Some think he's a pretty decent enough chap, even though he's a bit ridiculous, which can oddly make people endearing - they don't take the big bollocks too seriously.

Some think he's telling the whole truth and they're such fame whores they think he knows the world and he's important to keep in with.

Chelsea's popularity in the house reflects well on him as a person. He's a very likable guy who does tend to get on with most people. He's very easy going.

There is obviously a very good reason why nobody apart from Jayne nominated Chelsea whereas almost everyone nominated Jayne. I think most people in the house have quite frankly had enough of her. She has a very negative influence on the house and even her friends from the other house now want her out.

Really, is that when:

He's slalggi*g the ar*e off Jayne to all the housemates, ripping her character to pieces?
Squaring up and threatening the unseen female BB?
Making smart arsed remarks about the HM's after they have left the room?
Boasting ad inifinitum about his supposed wealth and London connections.

On and on we could go...he's a joke. TO give him his due if he is happy looking and sounding like an extra from a bad Austin Powers £1.99 remake,,,well so be it.

However, imo, he's a GRADE A monumental joke and if what I have seen in the papers is anything to go by....quite shady. I'll say no more on that subject.
