Lots of us seem to be having problems with the latest post on a thread not showing until another one is posted. I've asked DS support about it, and this was their reply:

This is likely an issue with our forum cache. Unfortunately this is something which cannot be avoided due to the size of the forum. If you ever come across this issue again, you're welcome to 'alert' the thread so we can force it to reload.

I just alerted this one so I could read your post and that seems to act like adding a new post. Can read yours now anyway .

It can be put right as its happened before and they did so then, I just don't think they can be bothered. Much like they can't be bothered to fix the DS search facility.

Perhaps if they get enough alerts, they might fix it.

I noticed this yesterday on the music forum and also on this forum some posts were disappearing and then reappearing again the next time I checked the thread.

If they are saying it is unavoidable, why doesn't it happen all the time? I've never seen this kind of thing happen before this week.
