Hi All,

I've recently upgraded to a Sony Z5 and within a few weeks a diagonal crack appeared across the screen.

I'm really careful with my phones, especially so when they're this new, it's in a silcone case and well looked after.

There's no sign of any impact, I've not misused it, sat on it, dropped it or knocked it.

Having Googled a bit I can see I am not alone in this "self cracking screen" issue, so I passed it to Sony to get it repaired under warranty and after escalating I'm still not getting any joy from them re a warranty covered repair. Current quote is about 120 pounds. I am still negotiating with them.

Has anyone else had this with any of the Sony Z range? If so anyone had any luck with warranty cover?
