I don't think this will go to penalties. Think Portugal will score in the next 30 mins.

Extra time, then. Portugal still haven't won a match at this tournament in 90 minutes.
Has there been any team in history that have not won a match in ordinary time on route to the final

Still think Portugal are gonna nick this. (trying to jinx them, but actually mean that.)

Hope it's not going to penalties. Hate penalties....

Calm down Dixon, the second half has been dull but it's still been 10x better than the depressing dross from Monday night.

It's just not happening for CR7.

The commentators give the stars so much more leeway in terms of criticsm with these bad misses.

Is Ronaldos best at the highest levels now behind him
Hard to know. If his finishing was anywhere near what it is in club football he'd be top scorer here by a mile. Wondering if he's trying too hard or not fully fit.

Arsenal were interested in him last season

Portugal have all of the ball but their build-up play and crossing is pretty poor. Dour stuff.

Apparently PSG have put in a "massive" offer for him.

Milik has such little composure for someone who plays in that position.

The only way this game could entertain me now would be if Ronaldo has to take the pen that keeps Portugal in it and misses.

Sorry, I know that's cruel, but I'd just love to see the reaction

This Portugal side could do with a creative midfielder with a bit of guile. The tactic seems to be just to blast shite crosses at the general direction of Ronaldo.

The misses he's had are staggering too, he could easily be the tournament top goal scorer with, as you've said, a little more composure.

What is it about Portugal and games that deteriorate in entertainment value?

It sometimes even feels like he's a drain on the team, like they'll blast crosses at him, even if they have better options.

Need a decent striker too, but that's always been their Achilles heel, since Eusebio.

Yeah, the rest of their players don't have it in them to play their own game.
