I don't like Alex..BUT

He was in the right there.

He only asked a question then asked Hughie to stay out of it when the argument was between Sam & Ryan (Just like Hughie has asked Alex to keep his noise out on numerous occasions)

Hughie needs anger management.

Hughie is vile.

I am just sick of Alex full stop.

The pretty model staying in the background all the time to ensure he makes the final. Such a dull housemate playing the same predictable game.

There was no need at all for Alex to go marching into the bedroom and Sam stirred it up to make him do it.

Exactly Alex was stiring wasn't his argument but had to get involved like he does with most of the house arguments

This is contradictory. If Hughie should keep his beak out of it because it was between Sam and Ryan, then why is it okay for Alex to stick his beak in?

This is wrong on a number of counts. It's right on the fact that Hughie needs anger management.

Alex went in and addressed the room in general when he asked if there was a problem about the fishbowl. That's the first problem; if it was between Sam and Ryan, why was Alex going in stirring it up?

Second problem with your theory - and it's a significant one - before Alex told Hughie to butt out Hughie was the quietest out of quite a few of them who were commenting on the matter - including Lateysha. He didn't tell them to stay out of it though, just Hughie.

Alex knows exactly what he's doing winding Hughie up. He doesn't like him because Hughie doesn't kiss his ass. And he knows exactly which buttons to push. He treats him like an imbecile.

Hughie's reason for annoyance in a nutshell.

Spot on.

And then Alex turns it round in a really patronising way, telling Sam he was wrong.

When Alex was wrong to interfere and start it all off again. Deflection.

Alex is sly, and smug. And thinks no one will suss him, so discredits Hughie, who has.

Sam lied and stirred the pot. Alex went in to enquire if there was a problem having been lead to believe there was by stirring Sam. It all kicked off. hHughie lost his sh1t and behaved horrendously, sam cried because his sh1t stirring had been found out and made some offensive comments about Hughie and Ryan which if he had been heterosexual would have got him a warning.

Between the three of them A,ex was the least of it. Hughie and Sam were complete morons

It wasn't between Sam and Ryan. It was over Alex and Sam tipping booze into the fishbowl to make a punch, as such it included Alex.

Wasn't it Alex himself who said it was between Sam and Ryan? And why ignore the rest of the post - particularly the bit about so many other people sticking their voices in and Alex ONLY telling Hughie to stay out of it?

Spot on. however I think the point you missed was that it was all for airtime, there's a couple of them in there that pipe up when they think others may be getting airtime when their missing out, in order to combat this they shout louder.

Exactly what I was thinking. He is so condescending in the way he speaks to Hughie and did the same when he was with the Others. He clearly looks down on Hughie and wouldn't dream of acting this way or speaking the way he does to Lateysha. Hughie is at the bottom of the pecking order as far as Alex is concerned.
