i really like it. Took a few plays to really enjoy all the tracks but it's worth the wait. Shame it will get no promo here in the UK though.

I agree. I love the song and Delta's voice is excellent. Listening to the album right now She is so underrated in the UK, it is a shame

I've ordered my copy of the album so it's currently winging it's way from Oz.

listened to some of the tracks on line and think it going to be an amazing album. I love Dear Life, I've got the single of that which also has the acoustic version of the song on it as well. She has got such a range to her voice.

I think it's a shame that she doesn't get more promo here in the UK, think there is quite a fan base and I was disappointed not to be able to get to see her when she was in the UK last time.

Would love to see her do at least a couple of shows over here.

I'm looking forward to this. I was surprised how well Delta's last few singles have done in Australia, as she her last proper hit was Sitting on Top of the World.

Her album went in at number 1 on the Aus chart, but only 129 on UK chart. It is a shame, because the album is excellent

Well the UK would obviously rather listen to crap music.

Not a surprise. Even her fans in the UK, would have a hard time knowing the album was out. I only knew because of this thread.

i received the new album on Monday and have to say it is excellent, quite surprised at the cover of The Darkness' - I believe in a thing called love. I didn't realise it was the same song at first but her version sounds so different.

It's also refreshing in this day that she actually writes a lot of the songs on her album as well.

I agree that promotion in the UK is very poor, can't say as I've heard any air play of Dear Life for example. Luckily I follow Delta on social media so knew the new album was out, but still had to order it from Australia - being pre-ordered meant I got a signed copy

She has a tour in Australia but again I see it unlikely that she will come to the UK to promote the album, although she did come here to promote "Wings".

I'm not sure she's that bothered to be honest. Being a largish fish in a smallish pond (Australia) is probably more appealing than the endless hawking your album around Europe or the USA in the hope of some airplay.

The album is brilliant though.

I think it's a shame she's never really had an international breakthrough, except for the success of her first 2 albums in the UK. The potential was there. I remember Delta even started to break into the Japanese market as one of her song was used in a popular drama there. But the same thing has happened to a lot of Aussie talent such as Jessica Mauboy and The Veronicas.

The thing with Delta though and lets not forget is after Mistaken Identity underperformed she more or less abandoned the U.K. She released Delta stateside and forgot her U.K fans by not releasing, promoting or generally bothering with the U.K. She has but herself to blame in some respects.

True, i know she got a lot of 'hate' over the McFadden thing but that was a long time ago and no one cares about him or his ex wife these days.

It's like Natasha Bedingfield another one who ditched the UK for the US, don't bite the hand that feeds you .

I just hope Delta might start coming over to the UK again as she still has a dedicated fanbase here, and she still is making great music that deserves to be heard.
