Totally agree and, BIB that was really offensive, I'm surprised he wasn't picked up on that.

I'm liking Hughie too but I expect the apologies roll of the tongue, he must be used to making them after losing that temper of his He should get the warning but will it stop from going from 0-100 in a second?
Perhaps he should hang out with Emma a bit more, bit of tree hugging in the garden and caterwauling in the storeroom can do no harm, can it?

That's one of the best ideas I've read on here for a while! He might put a bit of spirit into her And she might calm his trooosers

BIB Fair comment, I did think that too.

Unfortunately I think that Hughie's temper comes from frustration that he can't articulate himself as he wants to, or that people just don't seem to listen to him.

Heaven forbid he starts doing yoga and hugging trees though.

Yes he should be evicted..... on the night of the final, as the Winner Best housemate this year!

He wasn't attacking anyone. He was shouting. As were several others. I don't think he was trying to "throw punches". He was trying to get Alex to listen to him. Not for the first time Alex told Hughie to shut up when he was trying to get a point across. No wonder hughie was annoyed, Alex thinks be can decide who deserves to speak and who doesn't. Hughie does go ott but out of frustration. Alex and sam were responsible for that whole incident and Sam's behaviour later was worse than Hughie's.

Hughie is my fav but i do agree he's very hot tempered and once he goes off on one there is no stopping him

It was made worse by all the other housemates shouting and crowding around, the most hilarious thing is this type of incident wouldn't have caused any drama back in the day. - Remember Roberto tipping spaghetti over Maxwell's head?

I agree with you. I am also glad that Andy walked away from the shouting when he got shouted at by the bedroom bitches. I really like both Hughie and Andy. The both handle themselves differently yet true to themselves.

Oh my God, I loved that! I loved Roberto Why was he evicted so early?
Still baffles me how he's not near the top of the 'best looking males' lists. i thought he was delectable.

Patsy, I couldn't agree more, I was studying for my finals and loved watching BB and especially Roberto..my flatmates used to goad me about him. One of the girls Sarah, to this day when she calls from NZ..asks for Mrs. Roberto.. Silly I know...but brings back happy memories

I agree , I thought he was gorgeous

My favourite Roberto moment was when he walked away from some kind of whole-house gathering (nominations announcement?) quietly singing 'Every day I love you less and less.'

Yesssss. I remember it well, I'm chuffed that Roberto is being mentioned and remembered.

Why isn't the beautiful Roberto mentioned more in BB folklore

He should be evicted for pretending to believe in unicorns.

Confused . Why are you explaining the meaning of a post when you haven't posted anything else previously , in this thread ?

Why should Hughie be evicted for behaving no differently to several other HMs over the years - and he didn't hit anyone. He was shouting and gesticulating. He is fiery but there's no real harm in him. I think his background means he's always on the defensive - he said himself that he's been subject to bigotry and being judgemental. Hughie is very endearing even when angry.

Alex had no need to go and stir things up anyway.

Lost in translation, I think! That post wasn't referring to a previous post with 'I mean'. It's 'I mean' as in 'to be fair', or words to that effect.

Hughie reminds me of Marco BB5,a bit screamy and prone to shadow boxing but actually fight nah.

Hughie screams and shouts but he never gets in anyone's face. He keeps to the rules of engagement by never coming that close to the person he's yelling at, which keeps him as non physically threatening.

Jane was more physically threatening when she put her face two inches away from Natalie and said she'd 'annihilate her'.
