Belgium will be missing Thomas Vermaelen who is suspended and Jan Vertonghen who is injured, also not having Vincent Kompany in the squad means most of their first choice defenders are not playing

So they will have to replace these defenders with players who have not played yet at this tournament

Wales's chances are a bit overrated IMO. I've heard some people saying this is a "50/50" game, but that Belgium performance against Hungary was at a higher level than anything Wales can produce.

Lee Dixon saying Hazard has nothing on Bale etc.

Wales lets not forget were utterly TERRIBLE against Northern Ireland. If Northern Ireland had a decent striker they probably would have won the game.

If Belgium turn up like they did against Hungary, then I suspect they'll do it in 90 minutes.

Worst England team and manager ever managed one win.
Against, er, Wales.

Whilst I do think Belgium might well be too strong, I think that's a bit harsh. Thought after the hour mark, when Jonny Williams and Robson-Kanu came on, we looked the most likely and played pretty well against NI. Would start with the 11 that finished, myself...

I'd quite like to see a Wales win.
Then the semi could be Ronaldo FC v Bale FC , who's ego would win that one ?

Still beat Wales though

Nice symmetry and natural balance to football at times, Wales get to their first quarter final in over 50 years but still manage to lose to the worst England team in over 50 years

We won the group, which I didn't expect, scoring 6 goals and conceding 3. Came together in the last third of the game against NI in an admittedly scrappy game. Just hope we go for it against an increasingly confident, but beatable, side (the 4 points we took off them in the qualifiers shows we can do it and is largely why we are actually in a major tournament for the first time in my lifetime.). Belgium are favourites....but anything can happen on the day.

If it goes to penalties, I'll probably be in the garden though!

I think Belgium could have too much for them but I'd hope either side beats Portugal in the next round.

If Belgium, and Hazard in particular, play like they did against Hungary it's au revoir Wales.

Wales have a 75% win rate, England 25% at the Euros.

They were awful against NI. As long as they don't sit back they're in with a chance.

I'm expecting a terrible game.

If Wales manage to beat Belgium, it might just be the worst semi-final in the history of the tournament.

Whereas on the other side you have giants like Germany, Italy, France (and Spain in the last round) who are all going to eliminate each other.

It's amazing how England fans are holding on to that win as though it means something.

Congratulations Wales.

Appears some of us expected too much from a vastly overrated Belgium side.
