It was all Sam's fault, not Alex', Hughies or Ryan's

I think that's my full take on the thing.

OK we know Hughie is hot tempered but with so many people shouting that's the only way to get your point across. He didn't start it.

Sam started it. It was all sorted when he left the room them somehow he went to the smoking area and lied about how it was a problem.

Then Alex walked in. OK I can't really blame him on not knowing wtf was going on because Sam was so confusing.

I think Sam assumed Latisha would back him up no matter what even if she knew he was lying.

He went looking for a argument with Ryan and maybe Hughie.

As he thought Latisha was with him he thought it would be like the last few time The Whisper Group vs 1 (or two at most) people with him in the Group ranting somebody out which he has loved doing.

This time it did happen but it was him who was the 1 getting ranted at.

Now he knows how it feels.

Sam created the whole thing. He had already gone through and spoke to Ryan about it and he accepted Ryan's response. He then went outside and continued to stir things up.

Only Sam made an arse of himself in my opinion and that's because he was clearly pissed and being a big drama queen. Hughie's rant wasn't down to the drink. He was just angry because Alex rudely told him not to speak. Sam is the only one in the house who was noticeably drunk.

Also it's funny that no one bar Sam actually slated Hughie after his row. Not even Alex. Jackson just said it was Hubert. Plus Georgina was on the side of Ryan/Hughie so I reckon Jackson would have been too.

Sam made a complete **** of himself. He manufactured that whole row by lying and charging head first into the bedroom to fight with Ryan. He got in over his head and then threw a strop when no one backed him up. Attention seeking brat.

He's a sneak and a liar and it backfired spectacularly on him. - GOOD.

I just have to add it that Sam didn't seem to appreciate how Evelyn was trying to comfort him. She is nice to waste her time on Sam.

He's trying to eliminate the competition by getting Ryan out of the cool group and bringing Alex into confrontational situations, I suspect he wanted Chelsea to lose his temper too (the only times Chelsea has gotten properly aggressive have been towards Ryan).
I think he was trying to orchestrate an argument between Ryan and Alex & Chelsea thinking everybody in the house would side with Alex & Chelsea, but knowing full well Chelsea would make himself look bad (and possibly get removed) and I reckon Sam has sussed that Alex's gameplan is to keep his head down and stay out of drama.

It may have backfired partially but I think he saved himself by playing the victim and making out he was drunker than everyone else (other people had drank the same amount as him, but he was the only one to appear drunk), as well as milking Hughie's overeaction for all it was worth.

He thinks his job is done with regards to the outsiders (Andy, Evelyn etc.) and is trying to pick off members of the popular group now, but it's too early in the game for that yet.

Sam is undoubtedly the master gameplayer in the house, everything he says about Andy is pure projection.
I even think he read Andy's body language during everybody else's ghost stories and set him up with a deliberately ludicrous one (that involved his dear old mother for extra sympathy) knowing Andy would take the bait.

I agree with you Sam was the instigator in all of this, however Alex seemed to be enjoying winding Hughie up, he was really in his face & kept telling Hughie to go to the DR. He needed to keep his nose out of the mayhem, instead he added to the whole scenario!

Here's what Sam said when he went outside to the garden:

"So I walked in afterwards and I was like "Is there a problem?" and Ryan was like "No no no no no I was only joking, I was only-" and I was like "Not really, well you weren't joking, Ryan, because at the time you were..seemed pretty pissed off" and then he said he was only joking as soon as I approached him, and then since then everyone's just been dead awkward thinking that people have had more drinks than others.."

HOW IS THAT STIRRING?! Is that not just talking/moaning about something pretty insignificant? But not so insignificant that the invisible man Alex thought to go back to the bedroom and bring it all up again for some screen time? And then wound Sam up about it afterwards?

Must reiterate that I don't like Sam at all. I dislike that whole clique, and I think Sam in particular is a shit-stirring bully and a sheep, and I love that he got a taste of his own medicine when they all started shouting at him, but I can't help but defend him a bit here as he didn't freaking ASK for Alex to go back and say something. All he did was tell them what just happened. That's normal behaviour isn't it? Talking. How's it being labelled as bitching/stirring? He gave a true account of their convo.

I still think Hughie massively overreacted though. It can be funny watching him go nuts but there was no real need to go that mad.

Somebody just posted a transcript in another thread and it appears that Ryan actually had sod all to do with it all.
If anything he appeared to be one of the least involved and wasn't interested in creating any fuss over it.

But that person left out the most important part, the bit where Ryan storms off and pushes the bedroom door into the wall.
