I've just watched it back (because I'm supposed to be getting ready to go to a party that I don't want to go to and I'm doing everything in my power to avoid this fact ) and this is what Sam said when he came outside to the garden:

"So I walked in afterwards and I was like "Is there a problem?" and Ryan was like "No no no no no I was only joking, I was only-" and I was like "Not really, well you weren't joking, Ryan, because at the time you were..seemed pretty pissed off" and then he said he was only joking as soon as I approached him, and then since then everyone's just been dead awkward thinking that people have had more drinks than others.."

I've watched Thursdays episode again and Ryan is NOT to blame.

Georgina to Jackson: "Did Alex grab me two?"

Jackson: "No. I got one, that's it."

Lateysha: "ALEX, ALEX."

Georgina: "Jackson, can you go and get it off him because Lateysha said he grabbed me two?"

Lateysha: "He had two vodka and lemonaids for you."

Lateysha to Jackson: "Go and speak to him."

Georgina to Jackson: "Quick because he's going to pour it all into a bowl."

(Jackson sheepishly approaches Alex, stands around for a while then re-enters the bedroom.)

Jackson: "He's just poured it all into that bowl, innit."

Lateysha: "Shall we go out?"

Georgina to Ryan: "So he had two for me and now he's having them for himself?"

Ryan: "Yes, he had them in his hand."

(They leave the bedroom for the kitchen.)

Lateysha: "Guy's, guys, can we not get involved, no?"

Ryan: "Well there's no point now because they've already poured it."

(Later, Sam enters the bedroom to talk to Ryan.)

Sam: "We feel like you're fuming because you couldn't join in with the punch bowl."

Ryan: "I came in here and said I'm only joking." (Not true, but irrelevant)

(Sam goes outside.)

Sam: "So I walked in afterwards and I was like "Is there a problem?" and Ryan was like "No, no, no, I'm only joking." And you weren't joking, Ryan, because at the time you seemed pretty pissed off. And since then, everyone's been dead awkward thinking that people have had more drinks than others. "

Alex: "Everyone's got one now, we haven't got one."

(Alex get's up to enter the house.)

Chelsea: "If anyone's got anything to ****ing say, tell 'em to come out here and say it."

Thanks for the transcript stratto22.
So it wasn't even anything to do with Ryan.

Those outside just blamed Ryan?
Who was it it who said that it was Ryan who had the issue?

You're missing the bit where Ryan clearly stormed off, pushed the bedroom door into the wall and had a bit of a moan in the bedroom.

Fair enough. Enjoy the party - you'll probably have a good time once you're there, it's usually the case

It was Sam. But in the transcript even Sam gives the reason why Ryan was upset, because he and Alex shut him out of making the punch. But Ryan didn't go into the bedroom telling everyone that their drinks were being poured into the punch bowl, that was Jackson, and it was true.

I agree, I don't think Ryan was joking either - but, when Sam went into the bedroom to challenge or query him, Ryan then said he was joking and so Sam seemingly accepted that (even if he didn't quite believe it) and that should have been the end of it as he left and it appeared to be over before it began.

It apparently wasn't over for Sam though, who went and moaned about the whole thing to those sitting in the garden. He didn't have to even mention it as it was seemingly over and done with. He made it sound like it was ongoing, rather than 'it was a joke; okay'.

He wanted a bit of drama, he got it.”

Yeah and he cried like a girl when karma came and bit him on the bum!
(It was brilliant!)

It was ALEX who for some STUPID reason took it upon himself to go back to the bedroom to ask if there was a problem with the fish bowl.

Sam didn't ask him to go to the bedroom, did he?!

Just like Evelyn and Laura discussing how they thought Sam as Lateysha's bitch, are people just not allowed to talk about ANYONE in the house without people accusing them of bitching or stirring?”

Mmmmm - yeah that could be correct actually. Maybe I change my opinion then. Perhaps it was Alex at fault for not just listening to Sam having a moan ..... he shouldn't have got involved should he?

Yes, but that was irrelevant to this blow up. Ryan (sort of) diffused it by saying he was joking. That's where it should have ended, surely?

He is a crafty dude usually shouts his gob off for a few secs.. stirs it up.. then sits back watching while stuffing his face full of chocolate!

Exactly. That was Ryan's way of saying he did have a strop (not without reason) about being shut out, but it's forgotten. But Sam went outside making it sound as though Ryan was getting everyone riled up about having their drink taken.

Ok, Jackson could have noticed that Alex didn't have Georgina's drinks in his hands and presumed they were in the punch bowl. But was Lateysha lying?

Agree with OP. Ryan is a little sh*t stirrer, who then acts all innocent and shocked that he may have been misunderstood, as he was only joking. Yeah right.

Needs to take responsibility for his actions.

He'll get found out in there.

Sam can't read minds so when Ryan said he was joking, he had no choice other than to believe him. Sam should have accepted his word and left it at that nstead of running off to get backup. Hughie on the other hand behaved ridiculously.

Yeah, I thought it was Ryan as well. I didn't see any "joking" going on. He was raging when he stormed into the bedroom and then when it all went to shit he said it was a "joke"...

Mind you, Sam is just as irritating. Both truly unpleasant.

Rather than complain to Ryan because Ryan felt pushed out, maybe Sam could have apologized to Ryan for pushing him out in the first place. Compared to what we've seen from Ryan in the past, his little strop was nothing.
