Waving the white flag, you got me...

I'm 3 or 4 episodes behind, but I just managed to read up on most of the house happenings, and I give in.

Please let Georgina be voted out. PLEASE. She is still my fave. I love her miserable face, and grumpy nature, but the tough, take no shit girl from the first weeks has disappeared. Even the bravado of confidence has fallen away at this point, and she seems very sad and unhappy. This was clearly not the right environment for her, and it seems like BB is going out of the way to target her insecurities so she'll have a downward spiral. So, let her be free. She needs to be out of that bubble, and away from all the manipulative bullshit (her own efforts included).

Jackson has completely ruined her time in there. And no, you're not misreading that, it's not a typo, Jackson has ruined Georgina's BB time. He targeted her in the early days for his showmance, was supposedly taken in by her so much he'd marry her, and yet he can't manage to not flirt with every other female in the house? Really? I wanted to buy into his 'feelings' for Georgina, just like she did, but in the back of mind red flags kept poking through. He's obsessed with pointing out how he's poor and she's rich, she's got a horse, he's open about his massive love, but she won't proclaim the same... you know after knowing him for two weeks. He's a very clever player, I'll give him that, which is why Georgina needs to be evicted so she can be free of these mind games.

She's no where near perfect, but she's not playing him the way he's played her. If she was, then she wouldn't stick her foot in her mouth so damn much. Georgina is Georgina, and despite her trying really hard not to fall for it, he convinced her he worshiped the ground she walked on, loved all the parts of her she hates, and even managed to persuade her for a little undercover action. That too was a neon flashing light, by the way. His refrain of you're my girlfriend, I need more from you, I need to see you care... Christ did I just walk back into high school where boys still think it's cool to pressure their girlfriends for sex, just because she's their girlfriend.

His continual flirting with Evelyn and Laura is also a slap in the face. I don't know if he's trying to wind Georgina up to provide drama and storyline, or if he's just that big-headed, but it is not cute or okay. I'm not saying Georgina's jealousy is okay either, but that comes from a place of self loathing and doubt. Jackson is playing the big man with all the ladies, and then turning around and making everyone, including Georgina, think she's crazy for not buying his true love forever act. I have to say, if a guy says he loves me I would expect him to be able to refrain from flirting, especially when I'm with him 24/7, and said girls he's flirting with are people I don't like. Loyalty is still a thing in this world, and a major part of relationships. Since Jackson's conned Georgina into thinking they're in one, I suppose he should attempt to at least try not to flaunt his attraction to Evelyn, Laura, anyone with two legs (remember he and Sam?), in her face.

Vote to evict Georgina. Give that girl back her life, and let any romantic ideals about a relationship with Jackson outside of the house go up in smokes as he attempts to get in with Evelyn and Laura - I mean, as soon as one is evicted... Only thing I find slightly amusing in all this is that eventually he too will be evicted, and I imagine Georgina's cruel tongue unleashed is quite the beating. He deserves it.

You are wrong on all of this. Georgina isn't suffering, this is the type of person she is. There is no difference now compared to how she was in the first week. She was miserable and moaning all of the time then, and she is exactly the same now. It's only in the last week that it's started to annoy the viewers. I and many others pointed this out early on. People only liked her moaning to begin with because it was aimed at the people that everybody disliked.

Jackson can't be blamed for her behaviour either. When he was in the other house she was exactly the same then too.

Sorry OP but have to say I concur with this post. She was a misery guts right from the off, and when Jackson was in the other house. Her fauxmance with him has just brought out the worst traits of her personality for us all to see.

Completely agree with this POV...I was totally taken in by the besotted Jackson routine and wished she'd give him a break until that moment he did that whole 'evelyn you're so fine, with your tattoo (or whatever)....'shit!

I agree with some of what you say, OP.

She was one of my faves for the first few weeks. Spiky, combative, independent, anti Marco when it wasn't cool, not having any of Emma's attempts to shut her down, etc. She wasn't on the fence or under the radar. A good value HM, from how I judge these things.

Then it all went horribly wrong. I don't think Jackson's ruined her. Played her like a fiddle, for sure, but one must accept the role of fiddle. She doesn't even like or trust the fiddler, which makes it even worse.

But I can't be doing any more with the lies she tells herself and tells the others and us every episode, the spite, the contempt, the controlling jealousy. It's ugly and toxic and I don't want to watch it any more.

Schadenfreude

"Pleasure derived from the misfortune or suffering of others."

I note that a large number of DS forum contributors, (including those with a high number of posts to their screen name), regard this forum as a wonderful source of sustenance in order to get their 5 a day dose of schadenfreude.

Some will pop their cork at the idea of Georgina being made to stay in the house to endure more mental anguish, (self inflicted or otherwise), while others, already seeking out new victims of humiliation to harvest, will not be able to resist the anticipated pleasure of prematurely ejecting Georgina ... just so they can allow an org*sm of self satisfaction to briefly permeate their, otherwise empty, tv dinner lives. Then they will roll over, turn off the light and drift off to sleep pondering their next target of derision.

Whitney. Like me, you appear to be the sort of forum poster who really enjoys the pleasure and joy of creating and crafting each and every word used in your, carefully considered, forum contributions.

However, we are a minority.

Many folk viewing or contributing in this place, (when not getting off on their lust for discourse and upset) would, likely, be just as content reading chapter and verse about what coloured Smartie or M&M a housemate, likely, prefers.

As to Georgina's actual situation?

Well. She is an adult. A grown woman and, ultimately, Georgina, (once outside), has the power to prolong, tolerate or extract herself from whatever situation she may or may not be embroiled in.

These people put themselves in the public eye. These folk open themselves up for judgment and criticism. They know what they are letting themselves in for.

But ... BB isn't some Roman amphitheater and, despite any calls for blood, there should never be a need to put actual sawdust in the arena.

. Nice to see you have a healthy sense of your own importance.

Some might view it as a positive, others might say, get over yourself, you sound really very, very sanctimonious. I tend to sway towards the latter, but hey the rules here state we do not insult other fm's and I am happy to abide by that.

We are all on this forum to share and discuss our opinions. Positive or negative.

Those that go too far get reigned in and banned which I fully agree with.

Otherwise, debate and opinions on the Reality Show BB contestants, remains a joy for me.The day it stops, I'll stop engaging.

Thank you for slumming it here. Hopefully, soon, the majority will recognise your analytic, moralistic and linguistic superiority and take their lead from you. Thanks again.

Such a long post, but not a single mention of Georgina flirting with Alex; saying 'I'm a lucky girl' at the sight of Alex in the tub, with Jackson present at the same time, and generally making it known she's attracted to Alex.
