Interesting how quickly things calmed down when Jason become involved. He didn't shout or make a fuss - just took Hughie and quietly led him away. Definitely got brownie points for that.

He reminded me very much of Mario on Spitgate night, get in there, break it up without getting worked up about it.

Jason's calm demeanour was certainly more impressive than Jackson's grappling.

Gawd, if Jason hadn't intervened when he did the argument could have become violent

It's a good job Jason is in there otherwise there might have been one of two HMs being assaulted or even arrested.

Is Jason a trained bouncer or anything? I'm trained in restraining young people and that's what you're taught in how to descalate a situation.

Yes, that's exactly what he looked like. I suspect he has been a bouncer at some point.

It was funny when Hughie slipped from Jackons clutches.

I think these days BB has an in house doorman this year it's Jason. BB thinks well he'll do, just in case the security guards are tucking into ham sandwiches or asleep when it kicks off!

He's trained in some form of self defense, he was teaching Ryan some the other week. Well trying. lol As for a job in security I don't know.

True. But he would have got millions more brownie points if he had left hughie alone and dragged alex away.

If I was Hughie I would have been really pissed with jackson climbing all over me and would have had no problem with Jason calmly escorting me away. I didn't agree with Jackson's methods and it could have escalated the situation more imo.

edit: I think Jackson had good intentions but his method wasn't right (probably all he could do with him being so slender....lol @ his claims of being able to kick Andrew's ass)

Lmao. He couldn't hold Hughie. So Andrew nahh would be over in a nano second.

You're right though. His method was wrong. People need to see what you're up too. Surprising them from behind, will only antagonize them further.

I need to watch it again but IIRC it seemed like he was trying some jiu-jitsu....like a rear naked choke on a standing person I don't think Jackson even knew what he was doing.

I think he put his arms around Hughies midriff. But again, that will only fire up the person you're trying to calm down more.

true
They really shouldn't touch other people in an aggressive way or if one, the other or both of them are angry. Also, most of them aren't very good about respecting personal space--get right up in each others faces and yell.

Jasons way was correct as we've said. Not just the method. The fact that he wasn't in the room when it kicked off, and wasn't directly involved also helps.

I bet BB have appointed him for that task anyway. Security guards may be caught off guard eating or asleep. BB need another option. lol
