I have no words.

Weeellll, maybe a few. Magnificent. Gareth had a relatively quiet night, but from the back four right through we played as a team and thoroughly deserved the win. Robson-Kanu was my man of the match, but not one person was found wanting. Not one. Am so proud of them and can't quite believe it! What a night.

Yes.

I didn't have money on Leicester.

What a brilliant game.

At the start, Belgium looked so dangerous, and Wales went 1-0 down, i was worried it was going to be a one-sided match

Wales came back strong, and actually dominated

The second goal for Wales, was sensational, he fooled three Belgium defenders who seemed to be away having a cup of tea and slice of cake, and slammed it home

Oh, another bet won for me, i seem to be on a winning streak at the moment

I think winning 3-1 and getting to the semi without Bale scoring will be a big boost to the team.

Fantastic Welsh performance and well deserved they were outstanding to a man.

Only downside is the yellow cards but with Wales' team spirit you wouldn't discount another terrific performance in the semi - final.

Iam really happy for Wales

But i cant help thinking if England played as a team

We could be in the semi finals

Just like Wales have done

Almost as many mentions of England on this thread as there are of Wales.

See how supportive English people have been of their Welsh neighbours.

Interesting contrast.

It's the big brother/little brother effect.

Will always be the case when one country is the conquered one and the other the (former) imperial oppressor. Sorry if that comes across wrong or flippant - it's just history.

I think it's a shame that people really feel this way in 2016 as, like you said, it's history.

This is like some kind of dream come true, I simply can't believe it.

Well done to you. What impressed me most was the way Wales went straight at Belgium after conceding and started creating chance after chance, that showed superb team spirit and bottle (something the Belgians were sorely lacking).

I cried when we lost to Russia in the Euro play offs at the Millenium Stadium years ago and thought my chance of seeing us in a major tournament were gone and tonight.....tonight I cry because of how proud I am of our wonderful team.

Tonight we showed we are not just a one man team, everyone played their part and no matter what happens on Wednesday this team will go down in history.

I thought Bale was terrific.

Near the end, he got the ball on the right touchline in his own half, made the defender look like a dummy, and very nearly released Ramsey with a long ball.

He was a team member in the way Ronaldo wasn't. No wonder Ronaldo is jealous of him.

I would love Wales to get to the final.

----
And Robson-Kanu's turn was sublime.

This was the revelation for me. Three cracking good goals tonight, none of them scored by Bale.

Any Welsh person who has followed the national team would know it is not all about Bale, of course he plays a huge role in our success but without the likes of Williams, Ramsey, Allen, Ledley, Kanu et al he would not be able to play as he does, he knows he has a strong enough team around him which enables him to go forward and he knows that the players around him have the ability to pick him out.

He was quiet tonight but it seems Belgium spent too much time focusing in on him which allowed our other players to grab the reigns and shine, and boy did they shine!

Your team could win this : they look superbly coached and have great team spirit.

Yes that's true, I was just pointing out the reason. I don't believe people actively think like that, it's just ingrained in the psyche.

Btw I wish England were still in. Would be a fab atmosphere nationwide

I am looking no further than the semi on Wednesday, we are without Davies and Ramsey which might prove huge losses for us BUT Portugal haven't really kicked into gear yet so it's not inconceivable that we could get to the final. Germany, Italy, France or Iceland are a difficult ask though, I know some underestimate Iceland but they're much like us, very solid and have an excellent team spirit and know what they are doing.

I'm actually relieved we are not still involved as the minority of idiotic scumbags would probably still be rioting as we speak ...

I would ignore the issue of the suspended players and just get on with it. Sometimes talk of suspensions is almost an excuse to perform poorly and I'm sure Coleman won't be having any of that ; Wales will still have eleven players on the pitch.

Iceland have been superb too and there are definite parallels with Wales, another well coached side with brilliant team spirit.
