Such a shame, it is just warming up.

That's not even two months!

BBUS is 99 days this year.

Maybe all these semi-celebs they've put in couldn't commit to the usual 9 weeks.

Frow nearly pulled the show early last year due to poor ratings
so much for a new show etc

Yes. I would be expecting C5 to announce the end of BB shortly after.

I assume it's ending early due to low ratings, although the ratings thread say officals are at similar levels to previous years.

So regular bb is down to seven weeks being pulled two weeks early it seems

Why the hell do they bother with the civilian series, when they are going to constantly muck around with them in there and us out here

It's patently obvious where the priorities are these days and it's not the civilian series

The civilian series is supposed to be the highlight of the summer, yet they have treated it with such disdain and contempt since it's been on this channel

How come USA, Canada and Australia can get their series so right and year after year on this channel, the UK producers get it so dam wrong and continue to make a hash of the summer series while they put so much effort into CBB

What an utter farce I don't lnow why C5 dont just admit they've got no interest in a civilian BB instead of producing a lack lustre performance then cutting it short when they get the shite ratings they deserve

If it lasts for 54 days it will indeed be the shortest BB by 10 days (the first four BBs of the C4 era lasted 64 days each)

Might only get to about 48 by my calculations

1.1 million just isn't good enough.
1.4-1.5 is the target and that isn't me being a smartarse its what's been said the last two summers.

trouble is C5/Frow are on this course and they simply wont change or even consider if this is the right direction. If Richard Desmonds ratings clause were kept I truly wouldn't be surprised we see a much longer CBB summer series next year.

It pulls in the figures C5 want and basically runs itself as others said look at the money spent on the 2nd house when all that can go on more Zlisters to make the series longer

Why is it when they get a good thing going with the civilian series, they push a panic button or reduce the series length

They were getting all the arguments they wanted from the start and it was getting favourable reviews on social media, yet they go and pull this s**t

But summer cbb gets lower than the winter one and is generally rubbish

Personally I don't think it's a bad thing I normally stop watching towards the end as I start to lose interest, this is why I always stick with cbb as it's so short.

This series hasn't been too bad, still got plenty of good characters left with just 3 weeks left it should hold my interest and ppl will probably look back on it as quite a successful one, no mean feat after last year's
