Porting problem

I'm in the process of porting my number from Life Mobile (who use the EE Network) to ID Mobile (who use the 3 network).

The port should have completed 4 days ago but it has not done so. When I try to ring the number that I'm porting it says "number is not available" so its seems to have left Life Mobile.

I've ported my number quite a few times over the years and in recent times it has always been really quick and easy so I'm puzzled as to what's going on.

I've spoken to ID Mobile who say they have referred it to 3's technical team.

Has my number been lost for ever? Any ideas what could have gone wrong here?
