Nice to see both teams in their classic strips.

With the 11 players already on yellow cards, lots of these players will miss the semi finals

Ridiculous
Agreed, 2 cards in 5 games = miss semi? utterly stupid. Hope this rule disappears never to be seen again after this tournament.

Is Pelle the best-looking player in Euro 2016? He's incredibly gorgeous!
Not a bad call. Some keen observer should compile a top ten.

Probably the best thing to do is to scrub bookings after the group stage as well at the semi finals.

2 yellows in 5 games is hardly worthy of missing a game. Especially if they can last 120 minutes per game

Poor Sami Khedira.

Didn't he have to go off early in the last World Cup final?

Edit: No, he missed the match completely after getting injured in the warm up.

Schweinsteiger takes the captain's armband from Manuel Neuer.

Poor Sami Khedira.
He's a fantastic player, one of the best midfielders in the world, and it's such a shame that he's missing out on most of this massive occasion.

Éder and Pelle, whilst perhaps not being as big names as Muller and Gomez, are proving much more effective than their German counterparts thus far.

Germans looking the more lively at the moment but failing to make any headway.

No attempts on goal after 20 minutes. Its watchable but lacking a bit of goalmouth action....for now.

Sturaro should have picked up a yellow there.

Agree there.

Think the ref is being cautious about dishing out yellows.

That was a lovely cross. Definite shove, though.
