I bought a now tv box last month with a free 6 month entertainment pass, all was great until last week when they removed the kids section from entertainment and want me to pay an extra £2.99 for it. To be honest I wasn't impressed with Now TV anyway, not enough of what I watched on Sky on it, I watched things like Ghost Hunters, paranormal programs, history programs and well there was damn all on Now TV.

So that leaves Netflix or Amazon, any suggestions?

Give both a try both offer a free 30 day trial so use the trial and decide which one is better for your needs, personally i think Netflix is the better option but everyones need is different so Amazon might be better for some.

My kids love Netflix didn't take them long to get over the lack of nickelodeon, on the kids profiles it's easy for them to find things to watch.

Best of all is no longer having to hear "I want that!" every 15 mins as adverts for the latest toy comes on.

TVPlayer offers 25 channels (e.g Discovery, Eurosport, Cartoon Network, etc) for £4.99 per month. If you want to watch via TV the Amazon Fire Stick is compatible, Apple TV, etc.

Although I use Amazon for shopping now and again. I find Netflix to be better than Amazon Prime Instant Video.
I also have BT TV and find that to be ok and it has kids stuff on demand as well as a few kids channels,
