DVD player with 5.1 outputs and RGB passthrough?
Any ideas at all, can find ones with either or but rarely both. Also not sure if it's just websites shoddy technical descriptions but do lots of players still not even come with RGB output on single scarts(i.e. Yamada 6700 which seems to play everything but has no RGB, seems odd?)

My Pioneer can do all that. What price point are you looking at?

For RGB passthrough from another device, you need a player with 2 scarts.I have a Pioneer 656 with 2 scarts ,but that was a £350 machine about 3 years ago.
Most makes are now aiming strictly at the budget end of the market and most only have one scart socket. I think you will find that every player outputs RGB. When you say 5.1 outputs, are you referring to a player with built in DD or DTS decoders. |
