So reality finally hits Iceland and their fans. You drew against a poor Portugal and Hungary side, beat an abysmal Austrian team then faced a tactically clueless England side.

You beat England and suddenly lifting the trophy got into your heads. But now you faced a proper, motivated International team and you're crumbling.

Go cry into your fish. Its over.

The Icelandic comeback in the second half is going to be spectacular.
And so it begins.

This is making it even more embarrassing for England.
I said at work France would knock six, seven or eight past them and just highlight what a clueless, mentally weak, unimaginative team we are. We just haven't got players with the impudence, arrogance, vision and swagger of Payet, Pogba and Griezmann. And to have to listen to Hoddle, touted as our next manager despite failing at the likes of Wolves, makes it even more depressing.

I wonder if Giroud and Koscielny will be substituted fairly early in the second half to protect them from getting second yellow cards and missing the semi-final against Germany.

Good luck against this French team, if they get that far.
That's what they said about Belgium after beating Hungary 4-0.

Is this the same France team that huffed and puffed against Ireland, scraping a 2-1 win?

Its written in the stars for Wales, aka Leicester.

He is unbearable and actually talks as if he hasn't watched that much football before.

Many would argue Wales at 9/1 is a steal.

It's shocking that so many fans and pundits think he would be a good fit for England.

Eight minutes without a goal now, France have surely peaked. All downhill from here.

Nicely done.

Iceland almost certainly out, but they can be proud of what they've achieved here.

They have ten guys carrying a yellow card hanging over them so they were never gonna be able to play their normal combatative game . It's a crazy rule that needs adjusting .
