Ordered in error

Has anyone ordered food thinking it was something, then when it arrives realised it was not what they thought it was and it was awful?

In Barbados I once ordered pork souse, thinking they had spelt souse wrong and maybe meant sauce as in a pork bolognese. What arrived was a clear broth with a pigs trotter and pigs ear in it! Didn't touch it, yuck. Nice bread rolls though😕

Not awful, but I ordered a chicken satay from a street van in Thailand that turned out to be dog.

Tasty, though. A bit like chicken, only sweeter.

Did you know before or after eating it that it was dog?
