Two Stories about Wales From Walesonline
Found these two interesting. The first about Wales possibly getting to 6th in the FIFA rankings with England not even being in the top 10, sure some English supporters will call foul if it does happen or find an excuse for it somehow.
Brilliant if it does happen this way The second is about an English football columnist who decided to take the victory away from Wales and play it as an English victory instead, which is a pathetic attempt to demean our achievement. Bitterness and anger inside As the second story says though he seems to ignore all the non-English born players who play for England in various sports, just so it fits his anti-Wales agenda. |

Less anti-england and more pro-Wales.

It's so pro-Wales you mention England or the English 6 times in it. Slightly obsessed?

Your post has six uses of 'England/English' vs three of 'Wales'. I'd have thought with a semi-final on the horizon of the best tournament the country has seen, axe-grinding might be low on the list of priorities.

Considering both articles have England in them too of course I would bring them up, the second in particular being pro-england on the side of the daily mail columnist, impossible not to mention them.

What would I have to be bitter about, my country are in the semi-finals of their first Euro competition, I am anything but bitter.

Can't wait for Wales to beat Portugal and for all the talk to be about the Euro 2004 and Germany 2006 quarter-finals, then maybe a small mention of the Euro 2016 final.

Not really, the second one is more about Wales especially, but shows someone trying to make it about England. The first also has more Wales in it.
