Fave ELO song.
Mine's one that was a Top 10 hit in 1977 but probably not as well known as some others. The Diary Of Horace Wimp.
Closely followed by Confusion and Telephone Line. |

What is it about that song that makes it your favourite?

Tightrope on a New World Record. Never released as a single but he played it as the set opener when I saw him at the O2 in April. Classic ELO - starts with a string section before transforming into a pop record.

'10538 Overture' - the ELO masterpiece and genuinely original. Never again matched.
I liked the Baroque and Roll ELO of the first album not the later pop ELO. |

Another vote here for Horace Wimp - I think because it's a little different to their other singles, and it's kinda cute.

'Strange Magic' is my favourite but I also love
10538 Overture Shine A Little Love ( catchy, feelgood song ) Living Thing Tightrope Mr Blue Sky is overrated imo, and Horace Wimp is embarrassingly bad. |
