Views of a Welshman (entirely caught up in the mood of joyous disbelief!)

Blah blah. I'm bored with Iceland no.2. Semi-final is good enough for them. I am hoping Ron wins this one

That was an interesting article and I can understand Welsh enthusiasm.

I hope Wales beat Portugal

Well, fair enough. But I was minus 11 last time we were in a major tournament, so whatever happens I am most definitely not bored. Basically have never had a chance in my lifetime to get jaded about this stuff. This is unknown territory for me and thousands of others!

I'm mean. I hate "cute" underdogs and I'm pissed Italy lost

You aren't a "cute" underdog if you are in the semi finals.

Again, fair enough!

Whatever happens, not displeased we're going in as 'underdogs'. I'll go as far as to say we're not going to get stuffed....tempting fate, I know! And tbh I always tend to want Portugal to lose, whatever the opponent. And that certainly includes England, as I've watched them lose a couple of times and thought "damn!"

Oh god, it could be penalties, couldn't it! Still, que sera sera...

Next doors, butt.

Then I'd have to apologise and say "I do beg your pardon, I'm scared and in your garden!"

(one for the Bob Mortimer/Would I Lie to You fans, there.)

Wales will show what they are made of without Ramsey. They say they're not a one-man team meaning Bale, but it's actually Ramsey who is half the team.

In any event, England can only dream of players of that quality
