I don't think anyone wishes any harm on Chelsea. He chooses to discuss his 'big boil-ox', he chooses to dress like a young man, he chooses to keep his hair in a fashion that looks like a wig. His behavior is not that of a well balanced middle aged man. His claims of wealth attract attention because it is uncouth behavior and also because it raises the question to why he would go on BB. No-one buys the 'for the experience' claim, if you want a similar experience to BB, go and work in a kindergarten. People only react to Chelsea's claims.
Going on BB is highly unlikely to improve a persons profile in a positive way.
Chelsea is an absurd character and the only reason many of us watch BB. I fully intend to laugh at his claims, lego hair etc, that's the deal. Chelsea is more interesting than all the other housemates put together, the truth doesn't matter, he has done his job and provided us with a character.”
Well, sticking with my point about his wealth, are you saying that a wealthy person would not wish to go on Big Brother (on account of their wealth) therefore Chelsea must not be wealthy?
I don't find it inconceivable that anyone, regardless of wealth, would want to be on BB for the experience. The fact that he is wealthy makes it more probable that he really is doing it for the experience, not less. But you reconcile this by claiming he's lying about everything?
I can only conclude that it bothers you that somebody who you dislike might actually be a millionaire, and that there's some mechanism at work that makes you want to believe that he isn't. Sorry for the pop psychology but there it is.
