I don't know much about Naga but don't think she would be up for the tour, given her day job commitments, so for that reason I'd prefer her not to be with Gio. I want him on that tour goddamit!

Actually, maybe that puts Louise back in pole position as I think she'll go reasonably far in the competition and will not likely have any other commitments that stop her doing the tour. She just seems a bit blah though. Very nice and all and probably someone I'd like very much in real life but a tad bland!

Gio was dancing with another young woman while Jo was in the Musical - I guess if she is going off to do another one he will have to make that a proper partnership.
That is sad as Gio and Jo dancing together is just magic - their three dances from the Strictly Prom were wonderful.

BTW that Prom has completely opened my eyes to what a fantastic dancer Kevin is - he moves beautifully - no wonder he has ended up in three Strictly finals.
I think Georgia would have made the final if she had been paired with Kevin too.

I think Georgia and Kevin would have worked well too, Bendy. But he and Georgia really were the most obvious choice last year. After seeing them all dancing together and how they had clicked, I'd bet they were the couple the powers that be were the most sure of - after launch and the 'oh God I hope these couples work' doubts crept in.

I agree with you Sandy. To be fair I know virtually nothing about Naga, but from the little I have seen my gut instinct is that her and Gio would not be at all compatible at all..........It's just a vibe I get from her that I can't quite put my finger on. I will be interested to see if my view changes when the show starts. After all it's not nice of me to judge when I don't "know" her yet so I will try to be open minded

I think Georgia ought to be given a lot of credit for the extent to which she interacts with her fans on Twitter. You see her liking pictures/ videos etc. tweeted to her by fans all the time, and as happened today she sometimes even replies to them! And also going out of her way to compliment us all on this thread via Twitter! Really kind, top marks Georgia!!



You know what, I feel exactly the same about Naga. I'm sure she's perfectly nice but she comes across to me as just a tad overbearing at times...

However, I think celebs should do this. They are, after all, only where they are thanks to the support of their fans.
If fans didn't watch the TV shows, buy the CD's, pick up the phones to vote for them ect ect then they wouldn't be where they are now. I know they are busy but it doesn't harm them to take two minutes out of their day to send a quick tweet, reply to a tweet or like one. Same goes for instagram, FB and responding to fan mail.

Georgia is wonderful for doing this and I hope she knows how happy it makes her fans to see a liked tweet or a response to one

As you say, it takes literally a couple of minutes to look through some of the tweets that have been sent to you and show that your grateful for their support by liking/ replying to tweets but it will mean a lot to any fan who gets their tweet liked of replied to!
Not being a Twitterer myself it's hard to judge how many celebs take the time to respond to tweets like Georgia does but from what I've seen not that many!
I guess it's all part of the very much grounded and down to earth mentality that Georgia has, she certainly is very aware and grateful of the support and help her fans give her! This is making me reminisce about the semi final VT () - "It's amazing to think people have supported me this far. I never thought people would pick up the phone to vote for me".

I couldn't agree with you both more!! I think this is one of the many things that makes Georgia so lovely and easy to support along the way! We all know how she values her fans as she has said so many times, but as always it's actions that speaks louder, just liking and replying to tweets from her fans proves this!! Shame she feels she has to reply to the occasional troll but thankfully I've not seen her do so for a while now!!

I think Kevin and Naga might suit each other quite well. Hopefully she would help repress his tendency to act at times like a teenager on steroids. I can't see Naga doing some of the routines that K&K did, although you never know sometimes people can surprise you!

Oh I don't know Jen, I think that before they training starts on Strictly and Georgia starts on BatT rehearsals, it will be good for them to get away on their own and completely relax. Seeing the family is all very well but it's not very relaxing what with having to do the rounds of aunties, uncles, cousins etc. etc., which in Italy is very important I would imagine.
