I was so hoping for Himesh to take part, never mind, I like Tameka, she's quite a "comedy" character on EE, most of the time, but I think she'll be fairly anxious about doing Strictly and not so much of an extrovert so won't become annoying
last year there were only two contestants that I'd never heard of, namely Antony and Georgia, but this year there are seven
never, mind, I shall enjoy getting to know them and am especially looking forward to seeing Willbtw NDD just because a lady is "rotund" doesn't mean she hasn't got natural rhythm

No, I know Lisa Riley proved that, but I don't know? I feel awful saying it but Tameka kind of looks top heavy to me, purely from a dancing aspect!! It's ok having rhythm for the latin dances but she also has to dance in hold to the ballroom ones and...and...... I'm going to shut up before I dig myself into a deeper hole!!

On a personal level I will be unlikely to post on any other 'dedicated' thread for Gio & his new partner!!
GG are such an item now I would find it disloyal to her as this is the G & G thread, therefore it's for discusding what both are doing, Strictly included!!

Mine too - whoever Gio's new celeb partner is will be neither here or there in the scheme of things as far as I am concerned !
I hope he wins the glitter ball trophy so he can take it home to Georgia, who should have won it last year, as I think GG were the most lovely couple ever to be on Strictly - and I have watched every episode of every season right from the vey start.
Whatever success GG get this Autumn in their different fields will be celebrated by both of them so I will go on posting in this thread.

I know I know What's happening Star? There could be a small black cat looking for a new home soon if I have to sell up. By the way I don't automatically home in on Georgia's ring but my brain soon registers if I can't see it haha!! I always have to know it's still safely on her finger or if Giovanni has bought her another one and I need to call on our resident "not an engagement ring" expert hehe

Star you are definitely famous enough. You are beyond famous enough. You are a legend.
I think it's because you are too famous (much loved Twitter chum of Georgia and all that) and too loved. The producers of Strictly are worried that it's going to be flippin' Jay all over again as millions of people vote for you each week.
What they haven't thought of though, is the risk of Alfonso throwing a goaty strop because he's not in it. It could be very very unpleasant and smelly.

Thank you Jen. It's very kind of you to be concerned. And thank you Brian for your original concern. I will ask NDD if I can have his hat rather than him eating it. It may help keep the rain off a bit

Another thing, when I first saw Claudia Fragapane's name I read it as "frangipane" and so whenever I see her mentioned, I always think of delicious frangipane tarts. I think this partly explains why I like her so much already.
