You know what it's like when you're happily dancing on a table after a few tequilas & some wise guy asks if you've ever tried tap dancing!!
Course I had to try it & fell straight in the bloody sink!!!

Whereabouts in Largs Lewis . My daughter was at a wedding in Largs a wee while ago but can't remember the name of the hotel 😀

Gosh I am completely out of the loop - I thought Largs was on a Mediterranean Island or in Greece or somewhere - Just googled it and found out it is in Scotland

I have only been to Scotland once - a week spent in Glasgow !
We were lucky to be invited on a tour of the Art College which was fantastic now sadly very damaged by the fire.
My friend had an invitation to stay in a very, very posh boutique hotel so I think I only saw the posh side of Glasgow.

Meant to answer this last night - as we were talking Stewie and Georgia's dog Marley !
(Then got waylaid by Love Island - Georgia's friend Scott still in with a chance of winning)

It is such a shame that Staffies have now got such a bad reputation - the three dog charities I support here in London have kennels bulging with them.
They look vicious and tough but they are actually naturally very soft - they used to be called the 'Nanny Dogs' because they are so loyal and very good with children.
Bought up in a nice family home they are just full of love and bonhomie, but because of how they look they became over popular with bad owners who not only treated them badly but allowed them to breed - they usually chuck them out pregnant !
A lot of illegal dog fighting goes on and some dogs are used as bait dogs - it is just too awful and sad.

There are several rescue Staffies in our park - two are completely over friendly and soppy and one is so scared she rolls over on her back if you look at her.
She is taking a long time to get over how she was treated before she found her way to Battersea Dogs Home.
These are lucky, hundreds of these 'bull' type dogs are put to sleep every week.

This site is a pain when we get no crumbs from top table , bugger make it up? I heard that GIO is going to get hottest contestant around loves demonstrative jesters and head and hand kisses fit as a fiddle young enough for admiring glances , and as GIO might say not a pony and trap contestant

In terms of who Gio will get, I've tried to work out patterns of who pros get but really none exist! I thought at one time that Gio and his fast choreography my not get on very well with older ladies but from the videos I've seen he works extremely well with people of any age - he's got a lovely and gentle manner about him (other than when he's rehearsing the Paso of course!).

Been re-watching all these again - I miss the tour!! - and have only just noticed Aliona smacking Georgia's bottom on her way past, in this video, 7.50 secs. Lol

I read some articles the other day that suggested Aliona could be back this year but she has denied it on Twitter - shame. I really like Aliona

I never minded Gio dancing with Aliona - they seemed to be paired up often on the tour.
She was never my fave female pro though - not sure I have one in fact !
Jo is now a fave because of GG.
I used to really like Ola and Flavia back in the day.
I really like Natalie - hope she and Jo get decent partners this time round.

Its very difficult to work out who will get who as it just depends on what the powers that be want that year. Which pros they want to have ringers, which pros they want to have the 'joke' contestant ect.

I think (this is totally my opinion) they do sometimes try to play into the hands of the rags by putting together 'likely' Strictly curse couples. From the training and opening dances it seemed Georgia was going to get either Gio, Kevin or Tristan. I think because Tristan was a bit taller he was given a taller celeb so it left Kevin or Gio. Putting happily married Kevin with happily married Kellie left way for single Gio to pair with Georgia. Throw in that fact that they were both gorgeous and the youngest, you had a perfect couple - which has now been proven to have been 100% correct

Because Gio was in the final last year will they give him another young, good celeb? They might. Giving him another beautiful contestant will stir up the Strictly curse rumours once more and bring the publicity to the show OR will they think he was in the final last year so we'll give the other pros the 'best' contestants and give Gio a complete change this year? Who knows what they will do.

I've heard, more than once, that its largely matched on personalities. Gio being such a lovely, easy to get on with guy, could mean he ends up with just about anyone lol.

Anyway whoever he gets doesn't matter to me. Unless it's Georgia (which sadly it won't be - unless I get on with my petition to bring her back ) I'm going to sulk regardless

There doesn't seem to be a pattern to which celebs the pro dancers are given each time does there ?
Are complete duds followed by a celeb who might be able to dance ?
Do Gio and Kevin get not such good people having reached the finals last time ? - that doesn't seem likely as Kevin has had good people all the time.
Or is it just about height and personality ?

If Gio got the train he probably got off at Didcot or Oxford. Oxford is less than 1 hour back to Paddington if he gets a fast train
