Hi everyone....lost for words...been trying to process the fact they are no longer together but it's hard...never expected this to happen so soon to my fav couple..

It's a shock, such a shock.

i find it so hard to accept the fact they are no longer together. It was such a complete shocked to me and surely all it ended this way and quite soon. Gio's birthday is just around the corner so as Strictly and Georgia's BAT. Agreed with Sandy that deleting the photos..lovely tweets etc shows that he is hurt and cross for whatever reason..i was really really looking forward to strictly and Georgia's performance and seeing their relationship sweet and lovely always made me happy for them as a couple but now.....

Agree Sandy, her quote about still loving him 'but things change' is not something you say when you've been on the receiving end of a break up. i think it must have been at least mutual but that's not to say without some hurt and heartbreak. I still think it is about timing and circumstances, it's not just her own crazy schedule but Gio's too. Georgia was only saying recently how stressful the Strictly bubble is, you have no life outside it, etc. She knows what it's going to be like. They've had (what seems to be) a lovely six months or so together with relatively little stresses until the recent separations. Perhaps they have had to be honest with each other that their careers - which they have both been working towards since they were little - are each other's priority right now.

This isn't to say things couldn't change after a separation...

I feel sorry for Gio as he seems to be getting a lot of the blame. And people telling him to hop on a train and get her back maybe he did try everything we just don't know. Deleting the pictures seems so final. One thing I have to point out was the night out with all the strictly pros yes I loved the big group photo and they looked so happy but afterwards when they were photos from the paps with Gio smoking I thought they looked miserable but put it down to they weren't happy with the paps being there. I personally don't think they will get back together i hope I'm wrong. But I believe in fate and if it's meant to be it will happen.

Yes I guess you could be right - but it makes no sense at all.
The timing is so odd - he has dragged her to every Strictly do and to practically all his dance engagements and obviously wants her around with him at all times so why would he suddenly break up with her out of the blue ?

I still think they must have had a huge row yesterday and she walked away !

I honestly don't know which of them pulled the plug - either seem so unlikely to have that it's hard to process

How do you see what someone has 'liked' on Instagram? I know how to see likes on Twitter but not Instagram

You have to have the Instagram app

I do but can't work out where to look for likes!

One of the pictures she has liked is of Daisy Lowe, so Georgia doesn't have a problem with her.

I feel like banging their heads together. They are both the youngest children in their families and probably a bit spoilt and stubborn, they both need a good talking to!

his lady and she said he would have a partner and she would be at home feeling miserable well I think she got that right .

I really think that working at Christmas was odd . I know she in fact both are career
orientated and SCD is a great stepping stone but it doesn't always last.

I wish them both every success but cant or wont understand how two people who really loved each other with the sort of love that does not come along every day have made the right choice

I hop the friends she made on SCD Janette & jo keep in touch with her.

There are icons at the bottom of the screen a house a magnifing glass camera heart and person. Click on the heart then at the top of the screen it will say following and you click on following you should see what the people you are following like when they comment on a post and when the start following someone. I don't think you see when they like a picture when the persons picture they like is a private account and you don't follow e.g I don't see when georgia likes her sisters instagram as Katie account is private and I don't follow Katie.

Sorry jenster I responded to your post but several people have said they thought Gio caused the break up for whatever reason - he may well have for all we know but we know nothing when all said and done.
I just find his actions typical of someone who is hurt and angry !
I think he could be cross that Georgia announced the break up the way she did too - there was no need to do so - I wonder if she did that to get to him and make her decision final - which makes me think they were having a huge row about something.

It is a right old mess and as you say makes no sense at all.

So it wasn't all a terrible dream then?

Bit of crap news, eh? At least both of them have ongoing work projects to focus on so they can distract themselves with other things.

Jules and Humpty, good to see you again but sad it's under such circumstances.

As for the troll present in this thread, can I just suggest two things? First, do not feed it; second, hit the report button on their posts like there's no tomorrow. That'll teach them.

ETA: Sorry if I sounded a bit blunt, I wish I could be more eloquent and write beautiful things but I'm not one of those people, sorry. I can write about other things till the cows come home but I'm not the best one to write about feelings.

Just been on Facebook Gio is still friends with her mum and sister but not her granny- they were friends I think😢

Just wanted to come on and say what a shock it was that they have split up however geo did like a quote the other day which I can't see now which made me think she may be having problems with gio can't remember what it said but it did strike me as odd at the time that she liked it. Although I hope different, I don't think they will get back together. Maybe gio is the type who thinks if you split up you make a clean break and that is why he has deleted photos and tweets. I'd say geo is more sentimental. Nobody truly knows what a person is thinking and it is easy to just put a quote on social media to keep another person happy. I too if I had to choose would probably say it was gio that ended it but no one will ever know unless they feel the need to divulge this information which I don't think they will.
