hello Humpty, lovely to see you again

well, you've all been busy since I last posted, Sandy, were you up all night

so, two people have split up after having a wonderful year together, one which they'll never forget and, hopefully, they'll remain friends for ever, who knows, they may even get back together one day, yes, it all seems very sudden but maybe things haven't been going well in their relationship for some time, it's all speculation and such a shame that they have to go through this break up in public, we don't know who ended it or if it was mutual and, of course, they'll be upset, but both Giovanni and Georgia have good friends and family to support them.

Am I the only one in here who wasn't as sure as everyone else that their relationship would end in marriage my son and his ex girlfriend split up after eight years !! which was his decision, one he found very difficult but he thought it better to end it before they drifted into marriage, both are now happy in new relationships

I wasn't going to post this, but today is the fifth anniversary of when my son's friend was killed in a car crash, aged just 24 .... puts things into perspective doesn't it

I haven't posted in here for such a long time (life taking over) but I must after the shocking news
I haven't been on social media for a few days and I come back to this, absolutely heart broken for them! Such a shame as I really thought they were in it for the long run. I personally don't see them getting back together, it all seems very final. But who knows, being away from one another might change their minds. As some of you may know I'm an army wife and have been with my hubby for 11 years now. I think if two people love each other enough then being apart for periods of time shouldn't affect them. Some couples can do it and some can't. James goes away for huge amounts of time on duty (He leaves for almost 9 months at the end of November!) and he made that clear at the start of the relationship. I really do hope there's a happy ending to all of this, I'd hate to see it end on a sour note. It's surprised me how upset this news has made me, sending all of you lots of love xxx

Nope - never understood the logic of those trolls on the BBC website - it was laughable! You also had the ones who said she ditched the Argentine Tango because she found it too difficult, despite it being the dance she'd made it clear she'd looked forward too most from the outset!

I think that the point you make in your post is absolutely right, if two people do love each other enough, spending large amounts of time away shouldn't affect them.

You can never tell particularly in the Golf Fish bowl of celebrity, but I thought it would last more then a year. They were not the first couple to come out of Strictly and they won't be the last because in that sort of environment relationships happen and the press love it of course as well.

Well we don't have to put a title in as we know what we are all posting about sadly!,
Of course we don't know anything about GG split situation but think I agree with Sandy I believe with a heavy heart it was Georgia that triggered it!

We have all hung on every word they have said & interpret it our own different ways, usually though I think it is Sandy that has got the nearest to the sort of truth in past situations!

I can't imagine for me strictly will be the same not sure I want to watch it' thought Georgia
was going to be in the audience at least one week & maybe a little dance sometime while it was on, all hope shattered now! Also all the lovely videos won't be the same don't even want to watch them anymore!

It's all ifs & buts"" but think,that if they were in their 30's it could have been different, they

I know I'm rambling but in this day & age with women having careers etc still think one of you has to bend slightly' in my daughter & son in law she is a teacher & him surveyor'

My enthusiasm went completely earlier but I am talking myself round !

It has taken me months to be alright with the idea of Gio with another partner - now if he gets that Laura I might have to write a nasty letter to the BBC !

Wasn't looking forward to Gio getting paired up,even less so now,don't know if I can bear watching it.
I know they are saying its amicable and they will stay friends but I can't see it happening especially with what's been said on Twitter by Georgia and Gio deleting pictures. Hope I'm wrong. It would be such a shame. They made such a lovely couple. Feel a bit flat today, can't think how they are feeling,trying not to think about it but it keeps popping in to my thoughts.
