I have only been to Scotland once - a week spent in Glasgow !
We were lucky to be invited on a tour of the Art College which was fantastic now sadly very damaged by the fire.
My friend had an invitation to stay in a very, very posh boutique hotel so I think I only saw the posh side of Glasgow.”
Sandy not at all. I am completely lost when people talk of 'oop north' meaning Manchester etc, to Scots up north is Aberdeen, Inverness etc. When there's talk of the shires, Bilbo baggins comes to mind. Largs is about Half an hour by car from me. Lovely when the sun shines, miserable when it doesn't. You were lucky to see the School of Art. If you like Rennie Mcintosh it's a must. It really is /was 'a work of art'. The restoration work because of the fire is already well underway. 👍🏻
Posh side of Glasgow Sandy, it's all posh 😂

Lewis, if it's on the sea front. She thought it was lovely and the meal and service were really good. 👍🏻

It is such a shame that Staffies have now got such a bad reputation - the three dog charities I support here in London have kennels bulging with them.
They look vicious and tough but they are actually naturally very soft - they used to be called the 'Nanny Dogs' because they are so loyal and very good with children.
Bought up in a nice family home they are just full of love and bonhomie, but because of how they look they became over popular with bad owners who not only treated them badly but allowed them to breed - they usually chuck them out pregnant !
A lot of illegal dog fighting goes on and some dogs are used as bait dogs - it is just too awful and sad.
There are several rescue Staffies in our park - two are completely over friendly and soppy and one is so scared she rolls over on her back if you look at her.
She is taking a long time to get over how she was treated before she found her way to Battersea Dogs Home.
These are lucky, hundreds of these 'bull' type dogs are put to sleep every week.
Right - sorry rant over, as you can tell I am passionate about dogs :”
It is a shame
Sandy. Dogs are very like children in that their behaviour is picked up (well in most cases). It's just a shame that the dogs are branded the same as some of the'neds' who own them and it makes me so angry when they're bought, bred before they're even old enough and when they have no further use are kicked out on the streets or taken to be put down. It's the owners that should be put down. 😡

He's actually doing rather well. Got him used to the music now and he's working on finding his own beat and rhythm. And I even made t-shirts - thought following in the footsteps of Team GG seemed like a good idea
Also - fantastic news - he's all ready for table dancing tonight

Why is it that every time I see a post about goats I go into fits of uncontrollable laughter. My husband and daughter are convinced I've totally lost the plot. If I was to tell them I'm laughing at someone talking about a goat in either a puffa jacket or a t-shirt, dancing on top of a table or, as someone called Star's partner in Strictly this year I'd be sent directly to the 'Funny Farm' without passing go. 😂😂🐏💃🏻
