I knew exactly what you mean't Manchester is fairly big with a broad range of people and accents just like everywhere else. To be honest I like Manchester but I could easily live anywhere else and wouldn't feel out of place.

Its a shame she essentially focussed on mostly Gios friends and mixed with them - that agent guy, Jo (who is essentially Gios friend first) etc and SCD people rather than going out with some of her friends (or getting them to come along out with her and Giovanni). I know she didn't have a lot of choice, but it means if she does go back to London she will have to start over again, whereas Giovanni will still be mixing with all the same people he did before. I know she got on well with Ola and was friendly with that backing dancer jake who always seemed keen to go out and some of the other backing dancers too, so hopefully they'll be there for her and she'll make an effort with them if she stays in London as that will make things worse if her whole life has changed. Its easier for Giovanni as he has the SCD people and all his friends he mixed with anyway when he was with Georgia

Strictly is back this week, not even excited how are we all going to cope with all of this.

Yes I agree with you. I don't recall any pictures of them with anyone other than people associated with strictly. I think that is another thing she will find very hard as she was totally immersed in all things strictly for at least a year now. I do hope she stays in London but it will be hard for her. As she does her theatre roles she might meet more people from London to socialize with.

I'm going back to watching XFactor, Rose. That's how I'm coping with it!

Aww she looks fab! No reason why she shouldn't continue to post. She has to keep living her life and can't just allow herself to collapse in a heap however badly she feels so good for her. It shows she is trying to stay strong and yes, if Gio "accidentally on purpose" happens to see it then so much the better in my view

I agree - of course her home comforts are in Manchester and it would be an easy option just now as shes so close to her family. But although it might be tougher for her originally, I think London is a better option for her long-term. I can't help but think shed end up bored and fed up in Manchester and work opportunties are in London. It will be hard for her initially and she will be starting over, but she does have people who seemed keen to hook up with her as friends that could be there for her initially and I'm sure she'll meet more people through her shows. She was so keen to fit in with Giovannis life, that most of her social time was spent with his close friends like Jo, but unfortunately although they became friends too and I'm sure they'll still hook up for the odd lunch date, she is essentially Giovannis friend. Its going to be tough but time will heal

I am still really looking forward to it and a little bit intrigued to see if the bbc use this and pair him with Laura now who has joked in the media she is looking for a boyfriend on strictly. Essentially now he and aj are the only single ones but aj looks like a schoolboy still to me!

I love Strictly and sorry Star I'm not an X-factor fan. Sadly the excitement I felt has gone. At the moment I don't care who Gio is partnered with as it looks like even if he has a contender it won't be Georgia he is bringing the glitter ball home to ☹️

Irrespective of what happens with GG i hope neither of them hook up with anyone else for the foreseeable future. If they're too busy for each other then how would they find time for anyone else.

Speaking to a friend last night about the split she said Laura is looking for romance on SCD so I hope she is the last person as Gios celeb, My choice would be Louse who is grounded and I think calming but will put the effort in.
