I think we all want them to be happy but it has been such a shock to see the split when you can see how much they care for each other. I know we only get a snap shot of their lives through social media but what they have is special.

We've been privy to see how their relationship developed from strangers to friends and then lovers. We've also seen how upset Georgia has been and Gio deleting the gorgeous pics of them together. I think all this has shaped our reactions today and our frustrations at both of them. Deep down we all want them to be happy if possible together but if not then apart.

I've no swung back to feeling so sorry for Gio - as others have said, I think he looks slightly shell shocked in his picture. I really hope they are communicating, because neither of them seem happy with the situation

If it is her that has ended it, then I think her messages have been really unfair to him. God knows what they are both thinking

Looks like Ashley Roberts is doing a bit of drunken flower arranging! I wonder if the previous pic will make the Sidebar of Shame. Gio should be grateful to Georgia for taking some of the heat off him by showing that she is friendly with Laura. I hope Georgia isn't dishing any private dirt on Gio as a friend of mine once did. When she and her boyfriend split up after she found out he had cheated on her, she went around telling people he wasn't much good in bed! Not, I'm sure that this is the case with Gio!

I think so. Poor Gio looks so sad in his pic tonight and Georgia isn't happy either. It doesn't matter how many pictures she posts she can't hide her broken heart.

I'm changing my mind again! Do you think Georgia would be ' showing off' quite so much if she had instigated the split? As you say 6/7 Instagrams in 2 days! She may well be trying to show him what he's missing but think she would be a little more sensitive if she had instigated split! Grrrrrrrr so frustrating!

In my opinion if he is a stubborn Italian man and she wants him back (maybe she doesn't) I don't think posting all these pictures of nights out is doing her any favours. In fact I'm beginning to feel a bit sorry for him now as the statement did say it was best if they continued as friends and concentrated on work (don't begrudge her having fun) but if the statement was true I think she should have more sensitivity of the situation - just my opinion.

It's funny isn't it - if he were posting pics of himself having a whale of a time on a night out, we'd all (me included) be up in arms and yet we (me included) are all celebrating Georgis for her posts of her fun night out.

I've done an about face again, and feel like cutting him more slack after his picture earlier (crap caption notwithstanding).

This is an odd experience for me - as a very vocal and fervent feminist, I often find myself calling out double standards re how unfairly women are treated in the media etc and yet I see myself here judging them by the opposite double standard - I'd be furious with him if he were posting pics of his boozy night out now

Just to redress the balance - I agree with whoever said earlier (sorry, I can't easily check back on my phone with the SHATTERED screen - have I mentioned that?!) I don't think Gio will be judged as harshly by the press as eg Kristina was. I do think there have been a lot of sexist double standards around her

I think she is just doing what a lot of young women do during a break up - I can't see how it reflects badly on her - if it hits the tabloids she will have raised her profile yet again.
She is with three women who are always in the DM

But she is not doing anything scandalous or falling out of a club with some man or anything of that kind.

I totally agree - I don't think she is doing anything wrong. Good for her in fact. But I do think we wouldn't be so happy if it were him living it up just yet, irrespective of whose decision it was.

No I'm not saying she is doing anything wrong it's up to her but if the statement they put out is to be believed would she like him putting videos and pictures up of himself out at the pub with his mates with apparently not a care in the world (obviously I don't think that is the case). I just feel a little sorry for him now because we don't really know who is to blame I just think it is being pushed in his direction.
