I think Gio looks as if he's still quite shocked. To echo the thought expressed upthread let's cut him some slack. As Jenster said he's not the devil (we know what he looks like in Georgia's life). He was very caring, patient and supportive during their relationship, just as Georgia was for him, and they did make each other happy.
