Feelings are obviously running very high. Georgia seems to have given herself away a bit by liking a tweet that she's not tagged in. She's obviously checking out people's reactions.

My reaction is this: whilst liking Strictly tweets is one thing, liking that tweet is a whole other can of beans and she shouldn't have done it, no matter how tempting. Best to put her phone down and concentrate on BAT and keep busy.

Charlie de Melo is very attractive, a quick flirt, and I do mean just a flirt, with him (I have no idea if he's gay or not) will give her a lovely ego boost and put a smile on her face. It always made me feel better at times of romantic crisis, anyway.

I loved GG because they were happy and fun but it's all gone to sh*t very quickly. I'm grumpy because I was really looking forward to Strictly, Judge flippin Rinder is on it!!!! But now it's tainted.

Still, it can't get any worse I suppose!

Anyway, my life continues unchanged. I have the joy of finding a fancy dress costume for a party, I loathe fancy dress...

I never thought they would straight away, I knew they'd have to take time away from each other with very little of even no contact all for a few months, but i did think eventually down the line they could be...now I'm not so sure. But I guess only time will tell.

I really like professor green, he seems like such a lovely bloke and had the most gorgeous dogs.

No he has Brian and he has also done so on Facebook - where a lot of fans have posted photographs of them both and GG related video compilations.
.. and as of this morning they are still there.

He never has tweeted much anyway - not like Georgia.

His very recent tweets have all been OTT - welcome back 'The Italian Stallion' type fan posts which he has retweeted.

He has perhaps occasionally done so, but looking back on the things he has liked on Twitter there's barely anything there that is GG related there any time recently. Compare that to Georgia who has liked so many GG related things sent to them! I know he doesn't tweet as much as Georgia but he still 'likes' stuff quite often, just not GG things that often!

Looks like he's been back on Instagram as he's deleted a big negative comment (which was fair enough to be honest) Wonder if he'll be popping into Georgia's every now and again. I've a feeling he will be the one to regret letting her go.

Why was the comment fair enough? I haven't seen it but why is it suddenly ok to do that on someone's instagram?

I think Gio is a lot more private than Georgia. When he betrays himself it is in his body language and facial expression. So I'm reserving judgement. Look at the final VT when Georgia kisses him on the cheek he looks almost pained probably because at the point they were not together. Compare that to the tour pictures and periscopes when they are cuddling up and he was happy. His body language and expression in the recent restaurant/SCD pro's picture, you can't tell me he wasn't happy Georgia was with him.

The selfie this week shows he is definitely upset but I think it is right he has his show face on for Strictly. He has to it's his job. I think he's angry she may have chosen work over him (his view) and it's his way of dealing with things. Lets see how he is with the new celeb and also how GG are in a month. Once the anger disapates and they have time to reflect hopefully.

I can't remember it word for word but it said something along the lines of what a shame it's come to you deleting her off Twitter. Thought you loved each other blah blah. Not abusive or anything so that's why I said fair enough! He's obviously getting rid of any comments that he doesn't like but my point is he's checking his social media more than we actually think he is!

Don't think anything will change in a month or ever think that's it now and they will just get on with their lives. The deleting of pictures on instagram, unfollowing, little comments and liking of tweets makes me think nothing will ever change.

OK thanks Islapops. I'm sure he will want to delete the negative comments in any case. They can feature on most celebs social media even at the best of times.

I agree with this Jammy, you absolutely cannot say that you couldn't see true happiness and love from both of them in their pictures...you just cannot fake the way he looked at Georgia, and if it was fake then bloody hell he deserves an Oscar

We don't know the exact reasons why they split that's what is so hard...but time is a healer and we just have to wait and see how things are in a few weeks or months...who knows what could happen after they've had time apart? It could be that they do want to still be friends or even get back together or it could be that's it, they're completely out of each other's lives for good. We just have to wait and see.

Bloody hell - let me get this straight - the poor guy has been vilified for not visiting his mum enough, not going on holiday enough, liking tweets that are excited about him being back on Strictly, not liking enough tweets about Team GG and it been said that it's hoped he gets voted off early and/or that his contract doesn't get renewed - all because he (may have) ended a relationship?! And tried to have a clean break? And he's been accused of using her and calculatedly casting her aside now the new series is starting in order to increase his profile and chances of winning - (I really think that if he was going to do that, he could have planned it a bit better and done it a month before - why the hell would he do that at the worst time for him too?!) And all of this from people on here who at least once liked him - I hate to think what everyone else says!

He's actually maintained a dignified silence. I feel sorry for him and it's only going to get worse when he's actually seen to be enjoying himself and looking happy on Strictly. Which he undoubtedly will. I might have to hide! Don't get me wrong - I'm as confused and disappointed about what's gone on as the next person and feel so sad that he might have ended it - and so very sorry for Georgia. I don't blame him from not following her on instagram after her comment the other day, to be honest. Irrespective of what's happened between them and who did what - why would he want to watch her saying things like that in public?

As for the supporting each other during the show and since. No-one could have been more proud of her than he was - from his reaction to Craig saying that she could be in a West End show, to his reactions to the jobs she's landed since, to how proud and excited he looked in the periscope when talking about her upcoming work back in TV, and going with her to the Lorraine event etc. And in a personal sense too - getting on with her family, going to christenings etc. I know she's been HUGELY supportive of him - in all the ways that have already been listed by others - but it's not been a one way street.

I feel very sorry for both of them but feel sad that he's being vilified in this way.

When I aw the photograph of Georgia with her head on his shoulder and looked at him to me his face had no expression on it.

I think he is taking the split very hard good job he hasn't got a cat think he might have ended up kicking it.He is bitter and upset and angry. I think choices have been made and they are both suffering as a result.Gio comes across as stubborn and very proud sso its stalemate

I'm not sure if this was mentioned at the time (I think Sandy may have done but not sure) but if you mean the picture of them in the taxi that she tagged "my favourite human being" - then I really don't think that wasn't a photo from that day - it was old picture from when they went to the ballet a few months ago - an evening when they were VERY happy and loved up, judging from other pictures of the evening (and I think, though may be getting confused, that that was the night that he made the jokey comment to the reporter about them having beautiful children). My point being, that wasn't a photo immediately pre-break up - it was an old one from a happy time, so I wouldn't read anything into his expression - he was probably just trying to look mysterious!

God, I've been sounding like a right defender of him on here in the last day - don't get me wrong, I'm baffled by what he may have done but I don't think he's guilty of a lot of what is currently being suggested.

Agree with all this Wicks. He hasn't had a personality transplant overnight. Georgia also talked about how supportive he had been in the Fabulous magazine article and implied that she was still sometimes dealing with aftermath of her previous breakup. Relationships are hard enough when you're young, these two have had so much extra stuff to deal with. Lots of stuff behind the scenes we can't know about.

You are totally right and I am guilty too but unfortunately that is what you are going to get when you get together so publicly, live your life professing your love for each other on social media and then break up the same way. You can't just expect fans to express their love for you when things are all good and not have an opinion when they are not so long as it doesn't go down the abuse and being trolled route.
