I don't think he has had a personality transplant but I sometimes find myself questioning how accurate my perception of his personality has been.

I see why people may think he has been vilified, but I have tried to be diplomatic in what I've said and base everything that I've said on facts and evidence. As Pam said because we have been so involved in their relationship, and they have allowed us to feel quite involved, unfortunately when something like this happens we are probably bound to have quite a strong and opinionated reaction!

I honestly think she has chosen work over him. Georgia is on a high ATM as far as work is concerned but that can change someone new and in the public eye will come along and who an say how long itw ill last .The industry is so fickle. One thing I am sure of is that there has been no compromise and that is regrettable.

Thank you. Jammy . I very much agree with your post. The deletion of following status on Twitter and Instagram allows Giovanni to embrace the strictly Bubble. Remember "of course I love my family but the time for that is after Strictly" ITT not verbatim. He does want to win. It is written all over his arm. A win allows him to Tour under his own name should he want to in the future. I very much hope Georgia will put all her efforts into BAT and make sure she is a success. She is looking to put her stamp on her two upcoming roles and her interpretation and the direction remains unclear at the moment. I wish them both the very best, but especially Georgia as she is growing into new things. Her Dad Howard seems to be saying he has his arm around her through iconic Holly.AliciaX

I am gutted once again with their actions ,for a couple so deeply in love 2 weeks ago they have certainly turned sour so quickly,like so many I feel I have invested a lot of my days following them and have been so upset I need to step back too. They had become my reason to open my computer each day to catch the next lovely photo of them followed by a sigh to oh how lovely made my day,but alas no more of those days so this sad old lady will have to find another outlet for her affections so so sad

I don't agree with anyone sending Gio horrible tweets or comments on instagram but I'm not going to chastise people for having their opinions. GG were perfectly happy to live their, happy, life via social media so I'm afraid they can't complain when people have opinions on their break up. Especially because we know so little - and for fans who've taken such an interest in them and followed them so closely, it's very upsetting to know A they've broken up and B have no clue as to why

I understand. When it boils down to it - they are 25 and have been together for 8 months. Relationships are hard at that age.

Daisy - you are right, I forgot to mention in my list of supportive things, all the stuff with her previous break up and how he helped her (now obviously that was to his benefit too!) and how apparently it was horrendous for them behind the scenes during the last series. Why would he want to get involved in all that if his feelings weren't genuine? And one other supportive thing she mentioned recently - helping her learn her scripts etc. I think people are blaming him because he seems to want a clean break - which is hard to see but totally understandable. Georgia needs to step back a bit herself, for her own good. I'm not taking sides here and elevating him in any way - he may well have behaved badly - but I'm shocked at some of the reactions

I started here because I liked the dancing and got opinionated that they should win SCD, new series soon so maybe ill only pop in just now and then . there are some nice people on here you can disagree with, but it is just different opinions and they read and reply without ( most of the time ) taking it personally, ( Sandy is watching the planes this morning )

Then they got involved emotionally involved and i took offence, that people can not live their lives as they wish, without some shit comments people are free to be good kind and responsive to others , I am of the adage that if you can't speak good of someone don't speak

Totally agree with this Wicks!!
You all know that nobody loves Georgia more than I do but frankly I am dissppointed by some of the comments that have appeared on here about Gio in the last couple of days!!
There is no way on this earth in my opinion that this is all down to Gio switching off his feelings overnight so to speak & I fully support those who are saying his love for her and support for her were absolutely as 100% genuine as we all thought they were & vice versa!!
What I think some of us are losing sight of is the fact that they're 25 & 26, old enough for some to settle down to 'domestic bliss' for life but for a lot more an age where opportunities need to be grabbed with both hands while you're still young enough to enjoy them & sometimes relationships suffer and end because of it!! Given the opportunites being presented to these two then you can multiply that by several times!!
Yes they are both hurting at the moment & both lashing out which is sad to see & one of the curses of social media but in time I do believe they may look back & see what they had & maybe with assistance from mutual friends be able to salvage a bond of friendship!!

In the meantime this is the Georgia AND Giovanni appreciation thread & I would like to hope that we can all take a step back, view the situation for what it is, ie two young kids going through a messy break up, and try and continue our support, love & yes, sympathy for BOTH of them!! As I have said before, whatever has happened recently with Gio we all owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude for rescuing Georgia & giving her back her self belief, her confidence & her sense of worth in the last twelve months & I firmly believe she would not be where she is today without him!!
Sorry for the rant, I'm not getting at individuals but I'm starting to feel a bad vibe on the thread which is why I haven't posted much yesterday or today & felt the need to say something!!

Sadly I think collaw is spot on with this post! Who knows money may have also come into the argument as Georgia knows what sort of money her next 2/3 projects will bring probably quite a lot! Gio only had strictly at the moment which doesn't In the scheme of things pay well! Of course he could go on to be one of the best choreographers (hopefully) in the world but at the moment that's not the case! "Still very gutted"

Maddy don't know if you read my earlier post about referring to people on this thread as 'idiots' and doing the same thing again and naming people in your post. You also had a dig at Lewis for not reading the thread yet you have done exactly the same. You can't rage at people and then do exactly the same thing or, is it a case of different rules for you. As for referring to the rest of us as 'idiots' can I say that I take that comment as being downright rude and offensive. People make mistakes and there are plenty of people on here who very quickly try and get it sorted, politely. You're not the only person who is upset at events over the last couple of days, most people on this thread have invested a lot of time and effort bringing pictures etc to our attention and for that I am very grateful and as I'm sure, you are too. To then call these same people idiots well.!!!!!

God if someone would have said two weeks ago that a split would have happened I would have laughed! My apologies to anyone who has been offended by my lack of empathy shall we say with Giovanni and my thoughts on him being the instigator in the whole breakup but it's simply an opinion. The fact that he took her off Twitter just tipped me over the edge as that in my opinion is sticking the knife in & giving it a good twist! God I wish I was mystic meg because to me those two had what I would call 'only happens in movies' love!
