I think gios going to be a bit lonely after strictly if all he has to do in his spare time is look at pictures of random girls. Might realize what he has lost - none are a patch on Georgia. At least Georgia seems to be making the effort to go out.

I completely and utterly agree!!! This breakup will suit him as he will so involved in the show but as soon as the tour is finished in February it'll hit! I honestly don't think he will find someone as perfect as she was for him.

Thats even if he goes on the tour. I would be surprised if he didn't but there is more competition this year and if the other dancers prove more popular and him and Laura don't do well then he might not.

If her tweets etc are to be believed then I think he will live to regret not being with her in all respects.

Not nasty tweets as such Sandy - just people having a bit of a go, eg about him tweeting the pictures of training. Actually in some ways it may be Laura who has got more stick

I think he'll do the tour for sure. As for people giving him & Laura stick on Twitter is out of order but they've got the BBC bosses to thank for that. I think this is the only start of the comments. Feel sorry for Laura & him to be fair he didn't ask to be paired with her!

He might do the tour but they'll only need at most 4 male pros - so it's not definite (though Anton, Brendan and Pasha don't do it, so he's got a good chance).

I have actually met Michael Cashman a few times - he was one of the very first actors to come out as gay while in a soap.
His politics took over from the acting and he became an MEP.

I also ,met his very long term partner Paul - they were among the first to have a Civil Partnership.
Unfortunately Paul died in 2014 and Michael is still very openly grieving for him - they had been together 31 years,

I think someone's feeling a little insecure about his new partnership & popularity as a result!

Actually it was Georgia who photographed the cupcakes to show her thanks.

But Gio did respond to the cake ladies tweets ... she didn't make him a birthday cake I noticed.

She did make Kevin and Karen lovely cupcakes for the opening of their dance school last weekend.

She is called Alison by the way and she makes exceedingly lovely looking cakes.
