What a miserable day, well it is here on the south coast not sure about elsewhere!

Regarding the gift, he has obviously been busy this week and probably hasn't been to his agent's office. Won't everything in there keep? Yes, it would be nice to get a thank you, but personally I'm not that bothered. I contributed (for both) as a thank you for the past year and I don't give things expecting something in return. Celebrities get sent many things and don't always acknowledge everything - Sandy I can't remember if you were able to send the cookbooks to Georgia in the end, but if so that might be an example.
All the projecting in and around social media is continuing to get me down, to be honest. I know I said it before but it just isn't for me anymore. So I need to detach and enjoy the show without getting so involved in people's personal lives and judgments about situations I know so little about. Again just my personal feelings, I just need to stick to it this time! x

I think once Strictly starts and Georgia's run in BAT starts the thread will have a different focus and concentrate on them individually. I'm hoping Gio is not so hidden away as he was in last year's pro dances and gets to shine. Feeling a bit nervous for Georgia but I think she will surprise a lot of people. She has so much charisma and can't wait to hear her sing!

The minute he drove off I regretted it as I know these chaps don't know Central London.
Therefore I really think they probably never got to Marvin's office.
They are probably sitting in an office where no ones knows who GG are, if not in the Taxi Drivers Kitchen.
I worry about it daily.

But having said that -- my contact in the Theatrical Agency World tells me that fan mail is a pain in the ar*e and often sits in a corner uncollected for months which is why I choose Gio's Management as they sounded more hands on, actually spending social time with their clients...
Gio is very busy with Strictly right now so who knows if and when he might get the hamper - we sent it to show how much we did appreciate the pair of them not to get thanks after all.

Daisy I don't know if you have realised (why on earth would you) but I have stopped analysing the ins and outs of this break up !
We none of us really know anything - other than what Georgia tells us and just one tweet liked for a time by Gio which said something like - they will always love each other but the are both very busy with their careers.

So I am limiting my involvement to liking them both as I always did and trying to appreciate as much as I am able - which doesn't include cheer leading for 'Lavanni' as I prefer Will (long time fan) but I will enjoy watching Gio dance again although nothing will match Team GG.
Hope you can do the same.

Daisy and Sandy, I agree, the gift was given in appreciation with no expectation (from me anyway) of any thanks. Nor do I view either as accountable to me (not that anyone on here has suggested that, but I do think a few on Twitter do)

I liked the sweetie bouquet but whichever one we send is find - they're all lovely

And I'm pretty sure Gio is a definite for the tour, even if Laura does not do it - he's very popular, a great dancer and he seems quite friendly with the producers so I'm sure he'd be one of the first picks.

I wasn't that fussed about strictly with all the GG goings on but I am looking forward to it now as I think it is going to be pure and uplifting entertainment.

Daisy As others have said I think following the events of 2 weeks ago the thread is already becoming and will be even more positive as time goes on so I think you should still pop in. I think we are all just getting used to a new normal on here and it sometimes takes a little time

We had a lovely day up here in Scotland,was horrendous yesterday though.
With regards to the present sent to Gio, I think he should have the decency to say thanks. If they(stars/celebs)know who gave them gifts, it is only common decency to say thanks,we were always told to thank people for gifts. Especially nowadays with all the social media channels,would only take a minute. Just my opinion.

You'd drive yourself slowly mad trying to make sense of them all! That's all presuming that the quotes were liked with Gio in mind. Some could easily be targeted elsewhere.
